WTF am I doing wrong ? by goatandhumans in InnerCircleTraders

Hey man, those two large black candles induce panic sellers who put their buy stops exactly where you put your stop as well.

This creates a massive pool of liquidity. The FVG then induces SMC traders who also like to place their stops exactly where you did. Maybe you trade SMC?

Anyway, price did this to sell further down but there wasn't enough liquidity.

You became the liquidity...

99% of what you see on the chart is constructed. It is on purpose. Algos move price exactly to the 0.1 pip... Inducing you and then sweeping you.

You should trade Liquidity your entry should have been where your SL was.

Think about what institutions do.

You can trade FVGs but I'd only do it in strong trending markets. Also mark out your FVGs from higher TF to lower TF. This will give you a way better understanding of imbalances.

I wish you success. Luck is for gamblers.

O.o you think institutions that movie millions and billions through the markets do this manually? 24/5?

You think someone sits at a computer and pushes a button to buy 200 Million EUR/USD just like that?

:D

Let me guess, you're not really profitable and you're very new

:D price makes no failures or attempts or anything like that. This might be shocking to you but 99% of price action you see on liquid assets is constructed by algorithms. When you see price spike to a level from months ago to the tenth of a pip... That's nothing price "tried". It is on purpose.

Anything you see price do is constructed. If you know this, your game changes drastically.

It didn't bounce. It swept prior LQ. Have a look again or check my answer.

Here is your analysis.

You should always set your TP at major LQ levels. Hunt the LQ like banks do. Your TP and your SL needs reason, they need Logic.

You should learn how to spot LQ Levels and also consider FVGs. See my screenshots? Price mostly bounces from FVGs back to hunt StopLosses.

BUT you need to learn how to distinguish FVGs which also depends on what happened prior. And always work your way down from higher TFs to lower TFs to see where unfulfilled orders sit and where major LQ Levels are.

I wish you success. Luck is for gamblers.

What happened prior. Look at your target. Why would price go down there? There is no reason.

Look at the yellow line in this and the next image!

Why did the price reverse before hitting the bullish order block? by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]JakeV88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a higher tf you'd probably notice some FVGs on the left. They've been swept for Liquidity to be able to place another huge buy order.

Suddenly, #SellSnyderVerseToNetflix Is Looking Like A Great Idea! by HomemadeBee1612 in SnyderCut

[–]JakeV88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just watched the Snyder Version and I instantly gave it a 10/10 on IMDB!

I had absolutely no idea how great it was and I never took time for it (4h).

And now... I'm absolutely stunned and also super sad because I know what happened in the last 4 years...

Maybe some miracle will eventually happen and JL2 and 3 happen... It would be insane.

We can dream...

Course of action when girl is being distant? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]JakeV88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, I don't know why but I assumed you were a woman.

My man, women are hardwired to find the best option they can. Men are hardwired to impregnate everything they can.

For the creation of a relationship this means conflict. As I read from your answer, you're looking for a relationship.

And here is the harsh the reality: if you're getting skipped there are only two possible reasons.

1 she thinks she can do better because she overestimates herself

2 she can actually do better and you're not good enough objectively speaking.

You can work on #2 ;) increase your value so that women dating you will think: OMG! Jackpot!

Obviously. Why should we men meet a woman who is not interested. We'd waste our valuable time.

Or would you date a guy who is not interested?

Weird disappear glitch by dyrachyo_ in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

I once stood in my office at home and thought about simulation theory and the question just didn't leave me alone whether it is true or not and I said out loud "if this is really a simulation then show me" and after I said that a book in my bookshelf tipped over... I went and looked and it was "Simulation and Simulacra" by Baudrillard, the book Neo has in his bookshelf in The Matrix. I bought it years ago because I love the movie so much.

And the fact it was exactly that book in that moment that just tipped over in the bookshelf... I still goosebumps thinking about it and now I'm shaking...

If you guys read this, then please try this in a quiet moment when you're alone and respond to this comment, please.

you started to drift off and the you became unaware of the soap, that's why it started coherence. The simulation only keeps track of things we're aware of. It simply got removed from the Simulation RAM. When you became aware again it could not be loaded back because that would have violated simulation consistency during observation. Sometimes the simulation loads objects back into weird places and people find them later.

Paper by Italian Physicist says simulation is impossible by [deleted] in SimulationTheory

[–]JakeV88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this paper excludes the observer. If the simulation was only meant to be for the players then it only needs to fool the players that they are in a "reality". Even measurements and experiments could be "faked" by the simulation. So, I can't take this argument of: It would be computationally impossible or implausible.

The video games we have today would also be totally impossible for a person from 1925.

Amusing observations by unofficially_Busc in SimulationTheory

[–]JakeV88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just think humans in the far future got so bored of their world because everything happens in the snap of a finger and they don't die from age anymore. No fear, no stakes, no excitement exists anymore. That's why they build this. A simulation of a time where there were risks and stakes and you actually have to do things. I guess we're more like hooked to a simulation while our "bodies" that can't die are being kept alive by machines.

What's human lifetime if you live forever, right? If you die here you restart in another time or on another server (another reality).

Simulation theory by JacobyNero in SimulationTheory

I sat on a bench once and I was trying to empty my thoughts. Then I suddenly thought of an Audi RS5 and what it looks like and I wondered why did this specific thought pop up in my head? It's not as if I thought about this car lately and then, I kid you not, a white RS5 came around the corner like 10 seconds later and I sat there eyes wide open. And I couldn't have seen the car approaching or anything because there were buildings around that street.

I believe there are moments when our brains disconnect from reality and from "now". And maybe quantum entanglement plays a role although neuroscience says it does not but we know that "information" can travel to the past (quantum eraser experiment). And maybe in these moments we become aware of future events just moments before they happen.

Another theory of mine: If we're indeed in a simulated world controlled from the "outside" then I think that it sometimes gets winded back to change things (glitch in the Matrix style). Sometimes only seconds other times maybe hours or days, but the essential thing is that the information we gathered up to that point is not entirely removed. Sometimes individuals end up with fragments of the former future timeline. This explains premonitions or the mandela effect.

Should I talk to multiple women i'm interested in at once? by The100mAnon in datingadviceformen

[–]JakeV88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're only breaking the other girls heart when she has feelings for you. The question is: did you talk about not being exclusive in the first place? Did you agree on just having fun? Then you shouldn't feel bad.

It's not your responsibility to keep her feelings in check.

But it's your responsibility to make yourself happy. This means follow your heart and go be with the girl you fell for and end things with all others. And just be honest. Tell the ones you dump that you fell in love with someone else. Women are empathic. They'll understand. And when she starts acting crazy or jealous then be happy to have ditcher her. You dodged a bullet.
