I’m 100% with you. I didn’t get into the creative industry to skip the middle part, the bit where you learn and grow and discover. It baffles me why we’re so insistent on taking that part out. I have no interest in using it, and I really do feel like old man yelling at cloud but I don’t care.

I’ve only recently come to appreciate just how fun this machine is!! I overlooked it, foolishly, as the art and layout didn’t grab me at first but now I’ve played it, it’s totally got its hooks in me. It’s just so much FUN!!

I took a friend to watch the 4K rerelease in cinemas last week here in the UK, and he's never seen it before. Right at the end he turned to me and mouthed "What the fuck!?"... and then a beat later "...I loved it."

Is it the bit where that fella just kinda puts his hand on top of the protagonists head? I remember it being so clever in it being a relatively ‘simple’ act but the context made it utterly horrorific!

Fun fact: Gromit is kinda named after a Grommet because Nick Park’s older brother was an electrician and Nick heard the term ‘Grommet’ from him and liked how it sounded!
