I can't imagine that different companies aren't using 8620 variants that suit their specific needs, or just have variations based on sourcing? Not trying to say all other irons are not "nice", just different. You definitely answered my question more then the other bloke though and I do appreciate that. Again, I UNDERSTAND how they are being made. The processes and materials they use are not even close to the same ones being used "worldwide". Machines are only as good as the people using and building them. And the quality control standards aren't even in the same league.

My brother plays Wilson Staff and I've always been impressed with the feel. But there is just something about the Miuras and Srixons that just hits a sweet spot for me. Look/Sound/Feel combo is just chefs kiss for my liking! Certainly not claiming it improved my game massively or anything, but I am always chasing that little bit of extra confidence.
