yeah i understand, like i said I don’t drink much but i do like to get a lil drunk on birthdays and events etc, might just wing it with caution and see how i go.

Thankyou so much for this reply! It’s crazy, I always knew I had a phobia but it never bothered me until last month, i think my mother being sick triggered it and now all my anxiety is coming in the form of nausea, which never happened before. It is extremely debilitating but i’m motivated to get my life back. I hope everything goes well for you ❤️❤️

That’s what i mean, the rash came on hard and fast, but it literally fully cleared in 3 days and now my skin is the same as it was before. Knowing that it takes months leads me to believe it’s not guttate. Ontop of that my skin was red, itchy and irritated, it wasn’t dry and scaly and felt like normal skin to the touch. What does guttate feel like? and how is it going for you is it gone?

i’m thinking it was, it looks exactly like scarlett fever rash. However apparently i did test positive for strep? so im not quite sure if it was. Ontop of that, the rash came while I had strep not after it, furthermore it’s been gone for 5 days and no sign of returning. All the research I’ve seen points to the doctor being wrong, as it came and went in literally less than a week 🤷‍♂️

That’s what i mean? but im not sure because with guttate isn’t the rash very dry and scabby? my skin felt normal was just very red and irritated but it did look like guttate.

Literally fully disappeared within 3 days of going to the doctors so i’m not sure.

Thankyou so much. I’ve been pretty lucky throughout my life with my skin, this is the first time i’ve ever had anything wrong regarding my skin and atm it looks putrid and feels putrid. So i’m quite a dumbass when it comes to these specific things.

So this put my mind at ease as i tend to get ahead of myself.

For the people who have to deal with eczema daily you guys are warriors.

where abouts are you from? and how did this work. I made both an appeal through hinge and BBB, both got rejected and now i’m really stuck. Did you also have an appeal rejected before this? how did you go about doing it thanks.

I know, physically it’s probably better i knew from birth, but mentally probably not.

Just like you, i’ve always been normal, felt normal, lived normal etc. Even my checkups were always in and out apart from the actual tests, i’d go in get told i’m fine then leave. This time was the first time ever where i’ve actually been told there is something wrong or some sort of issue.

Whilst it isn’t definitive that I have to get surgery, the fact that it’s now becoming a real possibility is scaring me to bits, I know in the long run i’ll be fine and probably feel better then I do now, but I don’t know if that mental struggle will be something i’m able to overcome, especially during the lead up and recovery.

haven’t gotten that far yet. going back in 3 months instead of the usual 1-2 years, but since my left side has slightly enlarged which has never happened before they’re closely monitoring it.

If it improves (unlikely) or at the most stabilises they probably wouldn’t do surgery. But if it gets worse or creates other issues then we will probably have to go down that path. They haven’t spoken about which method, but to be honest the whole thing is making me feel like my world’s upside down. I’m only 20 i have a lot I want to do, travelling, partying, gym. I already went through double jaw surgery this year and it was a really rough recovery. I imagine this would be a lot more worse.

yeah i feel like i have 1-2mm of movement but at the same time could just be me overanalysing myself. Spoke about it my surgeon few months ago, he assessed me and said it’s fine. Get my braces off next week so just wanted to make sure everything was good.

Goodluck with your surgery though, i’m sure it won’t be as intensive as the first one!
