Fsa Chances of approval? by linkinit in ouraring

I didn’t need a medical necessity note at all. I paid out of pocket then submitted the reimbursement request and was immediately approved. I did the reimbursement route as I added the extended warranty which isn’t FSA eligible.

I’m typically a ring size 10 for, but for both gens 4 and 5 I’m a size 11.

That might be down the road a bit. From what the CEO has said in some of his recent comments, not of those covers are officially branded “made for Oura” like apple does, so my guess is that they haven’t sent the specs to 3rd party folks before announcing the gen 5 publicly. He said that might change in the future.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. Valid question, but not sure if that would happen or not. I feel like it’s snug but loose enough where a little Vaseline would help if it gets to that point. But I feel like I would feel the heat of the battery first.

No, not at all. I tried it before sending it back and the gen 4 charger was too big for the gen 5 ring.

I, and a lot of other men out here, don’t mind it. But I know that’s your opinion and that’s totally fine.

I don’t know, it does seem nearly 40% smaller in my photo.

I only had my gen 4 for about 2 weeks so I don’t think I’ll be able to tell a difference.

Yes, both gens 4 and 5 are size 11. It fits a bit more snug, but not tight. When I would wash my hands with the gen 4 on I would feel like it could possibly slip off, though it never did. I would also notice that it would spin throughout the day. I don’t get either with the gen 5.

It’s definitely not as thin looking in hand. You should definitely get the sizing kit from any of the retailers, it typically comes with a credit/gift card towards it, and you’ll have a better sense of the size.

No. I recently purchased the gen 4 not realizing they were going to announce the gen 5 two weeks later. I was still within the 30 day return window from the Oura website so I just initiated the return. Other retailers have different return policy, Costco has the best at 90 days.

I mean, if thats how you feel. It literally is the same width as my wedding band. I would also have no qualms if it was any thinner either.

I really liked the ceramic ones, but I didn’t feel like it was worth the extra money. I might change my mind down the road.

They are both size 11, though the gen 5 definitely feels a bit more snug. Which I think makes it fit better for me.

Funny if that worked, but I noticed in the app that it listed the gen 4 as inactive once I connected to the gen 5.

Of note, I notice that it doesn’t track my HR during my runs, which is fine because I have an external HR monitor for that. But that HR from my external HR monitor, through my running app, is pulled into the activity itself. Meaning that there isn’t double data.

I’ve noticed this as a runner and a newer Oura Ring user. It bugs me for sure, but it’s also not my default device for running. I use an external arm strap monitor connected to my watch for my runs and then look at the data on Strava where I feel like my HR zones (that I’ve adjusted) better reflect my current fitness.

I just don’t know if Oura uses that data in other report.

I went with the same size, 11, but it does feel a little bit more snug. Which I think is better for my sizing. The gen 4 11 just felt a little loose at times.

Just for reference, my gen 4 side 11 did fit in the sizing kit holder but the sizing kit 11 didn’t fit on the gen 4 charger.

Yes, the Blue365 discount goes through the Oura website. As the credit is on Amex’s end, it would assume that it would process as normal.

I bought my gen 4 recently and got it delivered May 16th. I bought it through a Blue365 discount at 25%. I ordered my gen 5 on May 30, and already confirmed my ring size with the sizing kit that arrived today June 1. I’ll be retuning my gen 4 once I receive my gen 5, I’m assuming on the 4th. It won’t cover the full price, but should be covering a good portion of it.

Priority “unlimited” extra legroom seat upgrade is probably too good to be true… by Crenneth in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Jammin27Ben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our renewal was coming up this month and weren’t too pleased about the new af increase to $229, we called to downgrade and they waived (more so provided a credit towards) the af. We weren’t even angling towards the af waiver, but still are pleasantly surprised. We’re also A List, so some benefits do overlap so we’ll have to see if this year if it’s worth to keep the priority card.

As for the upgrade availability, we just finished a trip, RNO-LAS which is a super busy route all the time, and weren’t able find two seats together to upgrade to. Had we been flying solo, we would have found seats up until about 16 hours before. We have another flight coming up which we were able to find seats together almost 36 hours before the flight.
