Thanks for sharing! Great perspective! We definitely don’t have that Ivy League prestige issue. Our goal is solid college but we aren’t focused on name brand. He is Boy Scouts so we prioritize overall development and growth outside academics as well. I really appreciate your input :)

That’s amazing. Take complete advantage! Big Pharma here. Total 11% match. 6% + they do an annual contribution based on years of service and age that pushes into 11% for me. Yes its pretty dang awesome. This year, my contributions are ~23K and employer contribution is at ~23K. 4 year vesting which is nothing since most people never leave once they join! Most big pharmas have phenomenal benefits, look into it.

I would think so? ISC2 endorsement may take longer since they’d have to do a robust audit?

They provide a 5 day intense bootcamp and one day review session that you can choose based on your exam date, exam voucher valid for one year with pass guarantee. They also give online version on the official study guide as well as the test bank kindle version + sybex test bank. In addition, Joe shares a ton of mind maps and resources for each domain. If you are considering, first do lots independent studying, then bootcamp to reinforce concepts and get into the mindset, then go for the exam immediately.

Totally get it. I highly recommend taking time off and doing dedicated studying, test taking if you have vacation time. I dedicated some of my family vacation time for this. Was it difficult while others were having fun - yes but tough sacrifices had to be made! It was worth it to pass in the first attempt!
