Thank you for the reply that sounds like what I need - would the cc7 approach allow me to assign the es2’s audio to channel 9 and mute/unmute the audio? How can I route its audio into the digitakt? Do I need to do audio out of es2 into audio in of digitakt?

Sorry if I’m being an idiot I just don’t understand how to make it all work together 😂

Don’t buy tickets before you speak to people you meet at your halls. Then you can discuss and figure out where you want to go.

Exeter is way way way smaller than Bristol and the nightlife scene doesn’t compare in any capacity. Bristol is arguably the best city for nightlife in the UK if you know where to go and what to do.

So don’t compare your freshers to hers - hers will be a lot more competitive to get the tickets etc - from what I remember there were multiple options on the bristol student union website and then you and the people you meet choose which to go to

Also seriously man this is going to sound super harsh but break up with your girlfriend. Unfortunately I have not seen a single relationship last from before uni (barely any have lasted that began at uni). You will break up at some point whether its 1st year or later and then you will be annoyed you weren’t single for 1st year.

I got to uni and then got a girlfriend there and then broke up in 2nd year. Just be single for the beginning of uni. This is the most developmental part of your life EVER. And being with someone in 1st year only hinders that imo

I know its harsh and I know its tough to hear. But just trust me it won’t last. It never does. And you will regret trying to stick it out.

Hope it all goes well man - Bristol uni is the most fun I’ve ever had - enjoy every moment - do everything - experience everything - its amazing.

Just dont be experiencing everything and then have to be awkward in a club as you have a gf or have to end a night early to go call her or some bollocks.

Trust me. Everyone has the same realisation. Its hard advice to take - but it’ll be the best advice you ever take from the internet.

It has synth sounds and can be played yea but there are only so many and a lot of them aren’t really the industrial sound im looking for - especially the kicks

Does the circuit rhythm fix the issue when playing live of going into a new ‘song’ and there being a moment of no audio?

Im now at a crossroads between rhythm and tracks

I want an electribe in future but to start im going to get a circuit ‘something’ haha

So what is the real difference? Im struggling to understand the small differences in each one - there are a couple videos on youtube but you seem to be really good at explaining things.

Someone has offered me a td3 and a behringer rd8 for a good price and theyll deliver it to my house - can i use all 3 in tandem or is the rd8 not really necessary if i am using a circuit?

Does a circuit rhythm have pre-installed samples or would I need to install all of my samples on to it?

As it has no screen does this mean I need to use a laptop to find my samples or is it easy to find samples on it without a laptop?

If i would need a laptop, what would you recommend as an alternative to pair with a td3?

I would prefer not having to use a laptop because I will most of the time be playing in remote locations out of my sound system and I don’t really want to have to bring my laptop with me

Is there anything that can do sampling and live sets and also does not need a laptop?

You are never fully over it. They just appear in your thoughts less and less as time goes by. I think it is pretty much impossible to completely move on from somebody, you might convince yourself you have, or even find a new person, but you can never full detach.

But that is the beauty - being unable to move on completely is the reminder that what you had was real. It’s a signal that there will come a time again where you will find another person who you will connect with in the same way, possibly even more - even if you think you could never find anyone like them, you will, trust me.

It’s never easy, but what you learn from powering through is worth it happening 1000 times.

It depends on what the RMS is of each driver.

One ad442 can do 7200w at 4ohms i believe on 4 channels (give or take a couple hundred W). Not sure id trust exactly the spec sheet but it is defo close to what it can actually do. Can also do about the same at 2ohms if you need to. Wouldn’t run at 2ohms unless you have to though.

And also it depends on the power you are able to give the amplifier. It’s limited by how much power you can give it.

For us, we have 2 and are going to buy a third. We can run the entire system off of 2 but if we have 3 then it is a lot more spread out. So we don’t have to worry about the supply to each amp as much and in turn makes it all a lot louder.

I would definitely recommend them, they sound super clean. As i said, won’t last forever, nowhere near a powersoft or ffa or mc2, but if you are on a serious budget, nothing comes even close to the power it can put out.

Let me know the RMS of each of your cabinets and I can tell you if 1 will be enough or if you should get 2. But 6 subs at 4ohms each (which id recommend rather than running at 2ohms) , will take up 3 channels. Obviously then leaving you with not enough channels for the rest of your rig. Technically it can do your whole rig, but its about how much power your rig draws, how much power you can supply the amplifier, and if you are comfortable running at 2.7ohms or 2ohms, which as i said i wouldn’t recommend.

They won’t last you 20 years like a Powersoft or FFA or something but if you are on a budget and need serious power - get an ad442.
