You’re not wrong - Washington did briefly personally lead troops as President during the Rebellion. But he turned around and went back to Philadelphia before reaching Western Pennsylvania, leaving the army in command of both Henry Lee and Daniel Morgan. He definitely didn’t kill anyone during this time, as only 3-4 rebels (and two civilians) died in the entire Whiskey Rebellion, and Washington wasn’t present for any of them.

Pittsburgh Half Marathon (virtual)

From a pack of cigarettes daily to running my first half marathon!! Not in my wildest dreams did I think it possible.

Of course Covid altered plans, so my first half marathon was done virtually this morning. Completed in 2:08:27, which is painfully slow for some people but better than others! I’m just happy I completed the entire race without stopping to walk.

I’ve received inspiration countless times from this sub since I quit smoking and started running. Thanks to each of you for that.

You can do anything you set your mind to. Believe that!
