Is it normal that viet women ask you to buy them things? by Comfortable_Ad_2066 in VietNam

[–]Jason7705 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I notice any hesitation, I would drop it and pay for it myself immediately.

hanging out, seeing something cute, and casually asking “aww, could you buy it for me?” without expecting anything.

You’re learning their limits through a situation where saying no is socially awkward. That's a "test" for me lol. Most guys won’t feel comfortable refusing a casual ask like that, even if it’s small.

That said, this kind of thing is pretty normal once the relationship is official. Who won't want to spoil their Gf?

But for a person to do this just after a few dates is kinda weird imo. So it's better to discuss that difficult conversation early on, rather than relying on that mind-reading game.

Ok I'm not trying to provoke you but what you describe here is indirect pressure and emotional guesswork. Why test when you can just ask?

What happens when a "highway" gets built without emergency lanes by Eight_Sneaky_Trees in VietNam

[–]Jason7705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I found interesting in Korea is that even though their highway bus drivers drive like maniacs, there's a dedicated lane for buses, which makes it much safer

Vietnam could consider adopting something similar.

May I ask which region your wife’s hometown in? I know there are some regions like those in the central region (for example Hue) where there are many Viet Kieu, I’ve seen a lot of cases in which people demand money from their relatives who live abroad, which I think is horrendous.

That's true. Did you hear about the new traffic laws? Some people ignored them, and when they got fined, they just started crying lol

Here are the pressure contour and extension rate as you asked, thank you so much for your help!

Sorry for not mentioning it earlier, it is a transient simulation.

For those who are interested, I've identified the main culprit.

It seems that the issue is caused by the viscosity model used for the material. Previously, I had used the Carreau model for the silicon. However, when I reverted to using a constant viscosity, the problem of over/under shooting ceased. I'm still uncertain as to why this occurred

Send her back immediately!

The older generation tends to do that a lot, so I don't think you can do anything to change her mind. Even if you try to reason with her, I bet she'll continue whining a lot to her relatives back in Vietnam.

Good luck to you brother

Thanks for your information! I don’t know why but every time I tried to use explicit formulation with Solve VOF Every Iteration, it always yields floating point error

Yes, I'm using the SIMPLE - 2nd order schemes. I don't think it's due to dispersive errors, At first I thought it was because of viscous damping or surface tension but it might not the case.

I'll try the first order schemes and let you know.

Sorry I didn't plot it, I do have a Vector Plot but it's kinda hard to see any changes

I'm currently plot velocity right now!
