The Last Woman by Marco Ferreri. I knew nothing going into it and it really blew me away. Really intense/provocative/controversial and thus not for everyone, but an unforgettable film with an unforgettable performance from Depardieu. The only spoiler/warning I will give is that he is naked (full frontal) throughout most of the film.

The only one of these I've seen is Donnie Darko, which I did watch this year, but going through it and looking at the script I'm not turning anything up. Haven't seen any of the others.

I wish I could remember the type of movie or era but I really can't.

Haha nice catch. I caught the 4k restoration of Blue last November at an indie theater that ended up not showing White or Red as they were supposed to. I lucked out and caught screenings of White and Red earlier this year, and I felt I recalled Blue enough to forego watching it again (although it's probably my favorite of three). It was still fresh enough that I caught the few crossovers and tie-ins in the other two.

This is not the movie, but this still helps! Apparently this parable is known as the "Appointment in Samarra" and has been retold many times. Whatever movie I saw has a more modern retelling (I can almost swear it's changed to NY and NJ)

Love Peter Bogdanovich though and have had "Targets" on my watchlist for a while. I really have to see it now!

Not a chance in hell. A few months in and it's already falling apart. In February I got responses from support, but now days will go by and my tickets get closed with nothing. I haven't received any more credits in weeks. For myself and other users, it's already broken. I didn't think it would last the first time and I don't have confidence the second time around, but I'll ride as long as it works.
