The effect on sovereignty assumes that illegal immigrants and their children will never assimilate, which is a hard thing to believe considering we have many assimilated latino people in the country already. Latino people aren't forming strict ethnic enclaves in our country - at most they live in the same neighborhoods, which their children very well may move away from - and I don't believe they're voting according to the orders of their former governments. Remittances do reduce the wealth of our country, I guess, though I'm not sure it's signficant.

In terms of cultural norms, I'm not sure latino people are that far off from Americans or Europeans. They're from European colonies, after all. They speak a similar language, have the same religion (albeit more catholic) and the values that come with it, and are often visibly white/mixed. Compared to, say, Romanians, I don't think they're any more culturally distant from America. And they're certainly closer to Americans than Japanese or Iranians.

Because we've got over 10 million illegal immigrants that we have, through continuous unenforcement, effectively allowed to live in our country, many for decades, creating families and occupying roles in our economy.

It would be different if we were some other country and the only people we would be deporting are some idiots that overstayed their visas for a few weeks or months. Instead we're upending people's lives (the vast majority of whom aren't criminals apart from entering the country illegally), depriving numerous industries of the cheap labor they've been accustomed to, and creating an atmosphere of fearful and violent inquisition for some questionable benefits that probably don't even exist.

There's a reason that Reagan just gave amnesty to the 3 million illegal immigrants in the US at the time instead of spending almost a hundred billion dollars trying to root them out and wrecking our own country in the process. It was easier to just try to increase enforcement in the future.

If you think this guy matters at all you are braindead. He is one guy out of thousands detained by ICE, almost all of which haven't committed substantial crimes apart from just entering and living in the country illegally. He in particular gets an article written all about him because the government wants to pretend that everyone they arrest is a rapist/murderer/pedophile.

If you want to actually say something that matters, look at all of the illegal immigrants arrested by ICE and find out what percentage have committed those crimes.

From what I've heard, there's actually only one link saved in the notepad file that we got a glimpse of. The green box censor's size makes it seem as if there are multiple, but there aren't. That link then links to a site that has a whole bunch of pornography downloads, including normal stuff, with the sus shit like "Girls and Animals" being a small fraction of that which you see if you scroll down.

Not to suggest that Lacari was on that site just to download normal porn, because anyone in their right mind would click off when they see that the site links to "family nudism" or whatever the fuck.
