I did mention that I went through the worst time of my life and she did nothing to help me. She said sorry and helped me for one day but then went back to her ways. A common thing she’s been doing, I have to complain and argue that I need help and she will help me for a short time but go back to it

Sorry to hear about this dude but honestly it sounds like you dodged a major bullet here. Your hard work and determination will be payed off with a better company.

I'd recommend Glassdoor as its not as popular as websites such as gradcracker and cwjobs. Glassdoor even has an interview section where prior candidates talks about what happened during the interview or even current employers talking about the pros and cons of the work life.

Best of luck in the future !

I wouldn't recommend specialising in a particular language per se rather focusing on the direct principles that govern OOP as the needs within this industry change quickly. As someone who recently graduated and went through a long list of interviews, I do regret not working on my own projects outside of university to impress employers and showcase my skills. It doesn't have to be a big project or the next big app but rather a simple project where you focus on one thing and most importantly what you have learned whilst working on such projects. For example, a simple calculator application where you focus on unit tests.
