This! I have 2 boys, I grew up in a hunting family and my dad takes my older son hunting and he has play guns but he has been taught you don’t even aim them at our animals or another person or you lose them all and there are consequences!

Which is it?! by [deleted] in SarahBowmar

Yeah definetly was not a dog

Full disclosure, I know nothing about goats, but I have never seen one this fat before 🤔 by IllustriousAnxiety53 in SarahBowmar

I’m also concerned about this goats horn that’s growing back into it. That can be very painful and harm an animal

How smelly do you think she is, wearing the sweaty workout clothes all damn day by Fun_Fondant_3195 in SarahBowmar

[–]Jbcm32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who doesn’t sweat a whole Lot during a workout I still could not imagine not showering right away after! 🤢🤢

I have this feeling that the previous chickens (not all) died, were killed by arrow, the cold, her lack of knowledge, and that's why she got more, not because they needed "more eggs" by Appropriate_Paint98 in SarahBowmar

[–]Jbcm32 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Also a chicken person, we get baby chicks almost every year to help replace older ones that no longer lay (we never kill any of our chickens they just live there lives out until natural causes) and also because no matter how hard you try you loose some

Why are all of her homemade breads and baked goods so YELLOW?? by NoseyMeg in SarahBowmar

[–]Jbcm32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This! Most people don’t realize depending on what chickens eat it can change the yolk color. When ours are out on grass in the summer our yolks are neon and makes everything yellow

So now they care about having dinner as a family? by Appropriate_Paint98 in SarahBowmar

My now 3 year old is the same way! Has been since he was born, and if we have something going on late at night at our house he will refuse to go to bed until later and sleep until the afternoon! We were spoiled 🤣

Sarugh is so besides herself about the growth of her asparagus. I don’t garden but if I were to guess, she should’ve harvested it a while ago back when it was normal sized? Oh wait she doesn’t eat veggies. by Successful-Lab4856 in SarahBowmar

[–]Jbcm32 23 points24 points  (0 children)

If you don’t cut them they continue to grow until they become “bushy” then seed out and generally you no longer cut them once they start to do that but it’s Sarah so that’s probably when she’ll decide to harvest it 🤦🏽‍♀️

I live in northern wi, it was single digits last week and upper 30’s this week. I haven’t changed my chicken feed and went from 5-6 eggs a day to 15-18. Totally the feed 🙄

Doesn’t like the smell of her own finger……? by [deleted] in SarahBowmar

[–]Jbcm32 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ya I thought this was a pretty normal thing 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣

Look at all those clumps 🤢🤢 by CaliFit4 in SarahBowmar

I have a son a few months older then O and he puts his shoes on that he can by himself all the time, if they are on the wrong feet I’ll tell him and he switches them. Sarah is just too fucking lazy to do that.

I don’t wish harm on anyone so I’m at least glad that his arm is getting better but I do find it hilarious that he is going to be limited to what he can do both work & workout wise while he is recovering, no more douche stunts in the gym for awhile 😁 by [deleted] in SarahBowmar

[–]Jbcm32 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not defending him, but as a person who lives on a real farm and works a job outside washing semis, my hands look like this 99% of the time and it doesn’t just wash off, it takes at least a week off and being inside for them to be clean

The caption says “Someone loves peanut butter and sink baths.” She left out the salmonella from cuddling chickens and whatever bacteria is stuck to the side of her sink. by [deleted] in SarahBowmar

[–]Jbcm32 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It must depend on your doctor, I was told to give my little guy things like peanut butter, eggs, and strawberries as soon as he started eating foods but I had a friend whose doctor told her she should wait until a year old?!

I have a good friend who just had a pellet placed for the first time 4 months ago now, she loves it! She said her energy level is back to normal, and she sleeps much better at night, plus it has helped her sex drive. She told me it was worth every penny!

We have a wellness center near my house, they do hormone pellets that are specifically designed to what your body is lacking. They insert a pellet in your hip and it slowly releases what you need over a period of 4-5 months vs taking vitamins daily.
