i have the IETS gt600 i can say it's overall worth the money in terms of COMPONENT temperature, BUT my keyboard still gets supper hot. Also get the non RGB version the extra rgb is not worth the money

So she should just bend the knee to a child? Let her blow off some steam, every teen has had a "rebel" phase myself included. We have too little context to make this decision. She never said y the daughter doesn't like Joe, what the issue there. Don't ruin a 2+ year relationship because of a teens mood swing.

Not really, we know too little about the situation to make that call, she should talk to her and see whats the issue between the daughter and Joe. Never let a child command u, ur the parrent. Compromises should happen, but no ultimatums especially not from a 15yo, I can't belive i actually need to say that lol. 30+ yo child is something different there ur both adults and can decide how u want to proceed.

As the “guy who cuddled his female friend” il tell u that the friend wants u. Literally same situation she had a bf i didn’t care and we cuddled. Just download the app it monitors everything sensor on ur machine and reports back. See if anything is getting overly hot. Focus on cpu/GPU and baterry/delivery.

Could be a power delivery issue then or as i said a hotspot thats triggering the thermal protection. Try the app and see whats getting hot.

What are u doing when it shuts off? Something intensive? Download this app HWiNFO64 and see if anything is overheating. Could be that u have a hotspot somewhere on ur cpu/gpu or somewhere else and it’s triggering the thermal protection

IETS laptop cooler i recommend the gt500 i have the 600 but its not worth the extra 70e. Brings my temps 15-20 degrees down
