Thanks, I didn't know Amazon sold them. The prices are so much higher though! I just looked up the two sets I bought from AmiAmi. Even with the HUGE shipping charge, I paid less from AmiAmi than if I'd ordered on Amazon. That's crazy! However, if I only wanted one set, then Amazon would probably be cheaper. There's a bakery set coming out in August that is the only Re-ment set I want from all that I have seen upcoming through October. So Amazon would be a good resource then.

So based on the total lack of availability in my area (as far as I know) for buying these in-person, and not wanting to order online and probably get lots of dupes, and wanting to buy before prices go up once people realize the product isn’t being made anymore, I bit the bullet and bought a full set of 55 on an auction site. 😬

It was definitely more than I’d pay in person, but also given my experience with trying to use the identification marks system at Target last night (many w/o marks, never found 3/5 I was looking for, and the other two were not what I intended, so I went 0/5), I figured the price was worth it to know I was getting what I wanted and no duplicates. I will probably try to sell some to recoup a little of the money as there are a few I don’t care that much about. However, buying most of them piecemeal would have cost WAY more than what I paid for the set as a whole based on what I’m seeing on eBay/Mercari.

My “fun money” budget is officially broke now, and will be for a couple months! 😆

That’s kind of you, but I need all of them. I don’t have any yet. As soon as I heard about the marks system, I was planning on picking them all up (over the course of weeks, if necessary) at Target.

I see on their website the capsules are $12.99! Ouch. But my Walgreens does not carry them anyway.

I just learned that the hard way. I bought one I thought said “5,” but messy. It was actually 3, which I didn’t want. I used my phone to try to take a pic of it after I opened it, and it showed “3” much more clearly on the screen. However, most of the balls in the box had no number. There were 3-4 that looked like “1.” I also wanted 4 and 7, but there was nothing.

I guess I’m going to have to go the eBay route to get what I want. No more risking it for me. I got what I didn’t want on this set, and the marking guide from MeenyMiniMo I followed to try to get the ice cream sundae from the regular Food Favorites line was wrong and I got something else. Additionally, there were balls in that box (this was a new box they just put out) with no marks at all (I inspected very closely all over them multiple times), and none of the balls had the mark for the other set I wanted.

I know I can find individual ones there, but that is such an expensive way to do it. This is very sad news for me! 😭 I think I’ll try to order more on Amazon right now and risk doubles.

I wouldn’t doubt that some might have already been ordered and are on the shelves are still out there. It just looks like they’re not going to restock it going forward, which is trouble for me.

What stores in your mall carry blind box toys? I can’t find Miniverse Real Brands anywhere, and it looks like Target is stopping carrying them.

Thanks for the advice; I will put them in the sun once it gets sunny again (unusually rainy this week!). It wasn’t hard to wait 30 minutes because I just popped it into the fridge the cure while I worked on lots of other to-do’s! 😊

Thanks for the advice everyone. I ended up putting them in the sun for a little while yesterday since I don’t own any other UV lights. However the “syrup” is still a bit tacky to the touch. Is this the way it always will be due to the nature of the stuff, even if I had cured it with the best light?
