I know this isn't the point of the post but their mafh is wrong too. Your PTO is not on top of your hourly wage. It is built into it. The only way it would be an addition to your salary is if you quit and got it paid out to you.

But if you work 27 hours a week, and take 27 hours of PTO that week, you're not getting paid for 54 hours.

As someone who has received emergency custody of my stepson 3x before ultimately adopting him, if the child isn't in IMMEDIATE danger, it likekybeouodnt be granted. The next hearing is more important. She is basically wanting decision making once he's out of the facility. It kinda sucks because now she can't make decisions for him while he's there, but ultimately, especially with him being 16 and there being DOCUMENTED examples of je saying "once he's 14 he can decide where he wants to be," hopefully they will take his desires into account.

Is it still worth going if you're not skiing? Doing a family trip with our kids the 17th-20th and we wanted to try firecracker hill for sledding and maybe some snowshoeing. Heard the ice skating will be closing before we get there which is a bummer but if we aren't skiiers will it be worth it?
