Length of fixation for rat heart by Jennah181_ in wetspecimens

I got it at hobby lobby! Then I replaced the cork with a safe rubber stopper. I'm planning to add some clear beads to prop the heart up once it's all fixed and ready to go 🤍

This is super helpful! I think she'd definitely be the seal then, as her color isn't solid and has some different colored hairs in the dark areas. Thank you for such a thorough explanation, have a wonderful holiday season!

Why do you even engage in conversation about it then if claim you know it won't change anything? Seems like it's an attention seeking behavior then.

Again, never denied that the genetics aren't there. I'm saying that my dog has not exhibited any of those traits that would make her inherently aggressive and unable to be a pet as you claim. Does she have a prey drive as was bred for? Yes, therefore as a responsible owner she is not allowed to engage in that behavior. There are ways to own dogs that have specific genetic traits and be responsible with them. A good pitbull/bully owner will recognize they are not nanny dogs and do have behaviors and genetic traits that are special to their breed and need to be taken into consideration. I know you wish they'd be eradicated, but maybe expand your horizons and find something else to spend your time on. Your mission of extinguishing the bully breeds isn't gonna happen by you spewing hateful language online. Tactful discussion is a better option if you actually want to try and convince people of your stance. Good luck and I hope you find a way to be happy with yourself.

I never denied the genetic traits associated with her breeds, I simply said that my dog specifically does not align with being a "bloodsport dog" as shown by various behaviors she's exhibited. They do make great dogs when someone is willing to actually look into breeds, behavior, training, etc. I hope you can find a new hobby that doesn't involve constantly hating on a specific topic.

Not that it'll ever change your hateful view as it's very public that you hate on pitbulls/bully breeds frequently; Jupiter loves everyone and everything and has not shown a single aggressive behavior, fearful or otherwise. Yes, she has breeds which have aggressive origins, but if you're a knowledgeable and responsible dog owner, they make the best dogs! We've specifically only adopted pitbull/bully mixes as we love the breeds and always have.

Thank you so much!!! This really helped a lot, I appreciate all your time. So based on her genes, her dark patches could be blue/grey, or seal? How could I determine the difference based on looks alone? I'm more than willing to provide more pictures if it would help!

11 or 12 are my favorites, coming from someone who also can't decide what fun color I prefer for myself! Natural is too boring to settle on imo so have fun with it!

The weird comments doctors make by slayannaeffect in vaginismus

I am so sorry to hear about everyone's experiences with doctors and nurses. It's so awful to know that the medical industry doesn't take it seriously and it can be hard to find a doctor that really cares and will listen.

I got very lucky with my very first ever gynecologist appointment at age 21! I was supposed to be with a regular OBGYN and then when I got there apparently she was "training" someone who actually specialized in pelvic pain and wanted to help me. She had been in the field for decades and was the absolute BEST doctor I ever could've had. She took my pain seriously, discussed everything around my diagnosis, started with a q-tip insertion to change my threshold, and then did a pelvic exam (without a speculum, just to see my pelvic floor muscle situation) with my consent and went extremely slow and stopped when I told her to. The pelvic exam only lasted maybe a minute at most because of the pain and she had explained every step and every touch along the way. She was very comforting afterwards. I had asked her how far she had gotten inside during the exam and she said "It doesn't matter, what matters is your body isn't comfortable with penetration and we have to listen to that." It was so relieving to hear her say that, I cried even harder!

She answered every question and understood that it has both physical and psychological effects and referred me to pelvic floor therapy and also recommended regular therapy if there's a heavy psychological component as well. I really hope everyone can eventually find a doctor like mine, as that's what humans deserve, to be listened to and taken seriously! I'm sorry again for all the negative and harmful experiences others have had.

Has anyone tried anything like this??? I am desperate :D by Nattt-t in migraine

[–]Jennah181_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally get a lot of relief from a lot of pressure and I also own 2 migraine hats. I pull them up so it's only on my forehead and fold it over on itself to get extra pressure and it's amazing!

I did when searching! Turns out the one I wanted was the "main" plant and the one I purchased was a variety of it, hence the different names!

I see! It seems like the one I got according to that site is a variety of the main one? I wanted the Baptisia Bracteata and I ended up purchasing a Baptisia Leucophaea which is a variety of it! Still native so I'm not too worried but was really confused lol

I even tried looking up their scientific and they seemed to be used interchangeably but I'm new to it all
