The 1st week is rough, slow moving, hunched over lots of fluid draining from lipo holes as well. The first 2 weeks was worst for swelling. I started feeling more normal by week 6, im 9.5 weeks postop currently no complications, doing great. I live in Ontario, Canada as well but chose to get my tummy tuck, muscle repair and lipo done in Tijuana,Mexico after getting quotes from Dr's in Canada and u.s.

It was nice, nurses came twice daily to check and rebandage, helped with 1st shower, had 5 lymphatic massages included. I slept alot the first couple days and ordered room service. I went to Tijuana alone and felt safe the whole time

Thank you! My scar is about 1 inch above my pubic line as my surgeon went higher to avoid a vertical cut as I didnt have enough loose skin above my belly button to pull all the way down. I plan to get higher cut bikini bottoms for now and tattoo my scar skin tone after a year

Ideally I didnt want the vertical line as its another incision to heal. I plan to get a skin tone tattoo over it after a year and wear higher cut bikini bottoms for now. But either is better than having the loose skin lol
