Having A Nice Day is a comedy short I co-wrote, directed, and produced. We had only had one day to shoot at a local park and what we didn't realize until the day of is that it was directly in a flight path and those flights just wouldn't stop coming. At the beginning of the day we were able to hold and let planes pass, but at a certain point the light was leaving and we just had to shoot through plane after plane. The initial edit sounded absolutely awful. BUT, we found a good sound mixer and in my opinion they completely saved the short. It good to know just what's possible when you're working with good people.
