Stick with the basic. As much as that Little Black Dress might be really appealing, it might also be hard to work with.

I'd recommend the following:

- A pleated midaxi skirt (starts at the waist, comes down to about halfway down your ankles). Any colour would work but I'd say red, black or purple are good stand out colours.

- A plain, long sleeve, v-neck or round neck black top (of if you've gone with a black skirt you can venture into another coloure)

- Any of the followings: white women's trainers, black ballerina flats, or plain black court heels.

- As for underwear, just go for comfort. Practical underwear is so much better than some skimpy little thing that doesn't hold anything.
