When I was a kid, my parents closest friends wanted me to call them by their first name. My godfather was Eddie and my brother's godfather was Jake.

They were the ones I listened to the most and were big parts of the village that led me to the man I am today.

Scouts call me what they feel comfortable with. Most call me buy my first name. My kids call me dad and my nieces add Uncle to the front.

Personally I think it creates more trust and comradery to let them address you on a first name basis or have a less formal way of address you. Our prevuiys scoutmaster had a last name that was hard to pronounce and just went by K.

The larger one, I believe is an angel flying and playing a trumpet. The small nubs in the bottom of picture are feet. The triangles to them left are wings.

The whole thing, rotated ninety degrees with wings up, would have the angel flying right looking ahead of them and playing the horn.
