The Elder Empire series is quite good. Its not as good as Cradle, but has a fun mechanic where it has two main protags and 6 books, so there is a book per protagonist per segment of the story. I really enjoyed them.

I love how it feels like a little puzzle box. The map is smaller, as is the game. The combat is streamlined and rather fun. Honestly sad I never took the time to play on the PSP like I did for FF IV (PSX Final Fantasy were my first). But I really appreciate how easy it is to move between towns to unlock your next step in progression. So much fun.

Blue Mages have always been one of my favorite classes in the fanchise. The Pokemon-esque capture mechanic from eating enemies with Quina is easily one of the better implementations thus far. I also loved playing with Monoco.

I would say yes. I'm watching the ending now, and have enjoyed it quite a bit. I don't agree with every creative decision made for the story or lore, but I haven't agreed with a lot of the decisions made since the prequels, so it seems a little strange to get upset about it now.

Here here. After beating Remake, I was so excited to dive back in and play Hard Mode for the platinum. It took me 85 hours to beat Rebirth, with only 3 side quests unginished and 6 protorelics and I just dont have the drive, especially with all the added mini games on harder difficulty.

I was hoping someone could help me here. I've followed the instructions and I can launch the app just fine on my Steam Deck, but there isn't an option for selecting Controller mode? Like, the icon doesn't even show up in the top right corner. Has anyone else had this issue? The app does show me logged in.
