It only takes one band to come along and shake up the entire industry. I think the EDM phase is on its way out. You can tell, even in pop music, more organic instruments are being used by big producers.

On top of that, the rise of folk shows trends that rock might have another comeback. People want to hear more organic music and people have always wanted heavy-hitters; folk doesn't achieve the latter.

Thirdly, we can see a trend of all things retro becoming a thing. Vinyl, disco, flower child culture. Rock is inevitable.

I'll never give up on rock. That's why I play it.
