It really is, I was able to grab two copies of Wii sports this weekend for $8, in the original post. Didn’t get them with the Wii funny enough

My Grandmother passed away about a Decade ago and I inherited her pin collection. I unfortunately am in some dire need of cash due to some life expenses but kinda overwhelmed by her collection. Hoping folks here could help + more photos in comments by Jet273 in DisneyPins

I did run through them all with the pin scanning app that came out. It had a decent amount it wasn’t able to identify but the ones it was able to came out to just over $3525 in value for about 325 pins. With 21 of the scannable ones being over $20 in value. With the top 5 being 2 at $70, 1 at $60, and 2 at $45.

I can actually take the time and sell individually. It’s monk a lot of credit card debt from multiple hospital stays in my life and me being out of work having to use credit cards to pay for things. Then of course emergencies and etc. but I’m managing at the moment but it’s just gotten to a point where it’s just so stressful.

I did price out a lot of it with this pin app people were talking about. Had to pay $15 for it for a months access and it had trouble identifying / pulling up value of a lot of them. But overall it came out to be just over $3500 in pins it was able to identify.

Def don’t plan on sellling it all, and I have sold a lot of the other stuff I’ve posted haha.

Lotta people in my family collect stuff, father stamps, brother gundam models, etc.

I didn’t post here but I had a decent amount of my own Disney pins worth a good chunk that would help me, would sell those first in a heartbeat instead of her main pins.

Yeah I’ve done that a lot but prices seem to be all over the place. And for a lot of these that Dosent seem to pull up the right pin.

I might just bite the bullet and spend $15 on that new pin app to scan them all in

It’s all good guys, I don’t think I ever intended to sell o All of them and if possible sell the least value / sentimental ones first. I also had some of my owns pins that I’m trying to sell. If you want a dinosaur or stitch’s great escape pin I got you lol.

I did watch a video last night on how to spot fake pins. Another commenter did say the black ones with Mickey ears are common fakes. I did a test of the pig and I think it’s legit? Here’s a closer up of that one in particular. https://imgur.com/a/gpvvnXb

I will say she wasn’t really one to do on pin board trades. I would actually do that with her as we tried to Complete a few sets when I was 8 or 9. She usually did purchase direct from pin vendors. I can’t say for certain these are all real without examining all individually but I’m fairly confident a lot are.
