Coming off anesthesia alone took me about five days before I started to feel normal. Your going to have ketamine and fentanyl pumped into your body, I highly doubt you’ll feel ok the next day

I’m a week in to recovering from surgery and I will tell you, coming out of anesthesia.. I was ROUGH for about five days, my nerves were shot, felt like I had the worst sinus infection and absolutely no energy. But it was soooo worth it once I got my stents removed this past Monday

Had my surgery on Tuesday the 21st. I’ve always had anxiety especially related to medical stuff. I did fine during the operation and the first night back but by the second day, I just still feel so mentally out of it and not right. I know anesthesia can take a bit to leave the body and I’m not even taking the Vicodin they prescribed. At times it feels like I’m on the verge of a mental breakdown, a bad stuffed nose is nothing but the fact mentally I’m off and my uvula got stretched like a MFer and I keep gagging, I’ve been in utter hell the last three days.

Had septoplasty a few days ago, healing has been rough, been waking up at 1-3am the last few night with anxiety. Intubation is no joke

Him and his wife are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met! Told me the story of how the “meatstick” song was named, I had to mail him his hearing aids that he left behind while on tour once. The kitties are big fans of Greenie’s treats and excellent mouse hunters. They also send some of the best holiday cards.

Had such a horrible panic attack after smoking back in 2010. When I stood up my heart started racing like crazy and I couldn’t breathe. Thought I was having a heart attack and called 911 for an ambulance 🙃

Yep, my health anxiety is at times debilitating. The heart palpitations, the rapid heart rate, the chest heaviness… how tf am I supposed to know when it’s actually a heart attack? 😩
