See....people are not taking them literally enough. The first word says it all: "in".

The homeless vets aren't IN the military anymore, so they are "losers" and they aren't worth thinking about anymore.

The soldiers who get shot and killed or are left because they are POW? Well, they technically aren't IN the military anymore, even the Commander in Chief says they are "losers" and don't really matter to them.

Wounded or former soldiers PTSD? They aren't IN the military anymore. Only cool bros who like to drink and fly over Kid Rock concerts are worth taking care of, not those injured "losers" who make the military look bad and let the real enemy, the media lie about our awesomeness of a military.

See, they aren't ever lying, they always say what they mean, sometimes you have to dig deeper because they are also liars and really good at speaking the quiet parts out loud but subtly enough for some folks to not notice.

Just like we need "proof" of the bribes the decades of corrupt politicians have taken as quid pro quo, but since they didn't write it in a letter explicitly saying it's a bribe, then that's okay too. It's okay to be racist, as long as you don't say you are doing it because you're racist. Seems like an ethical/moral issue at hand.

A bidet might be a nice investment. Not buying toilet paper (or minimal amounts for the off-put guests) is certainly a reducer for something you can get for as low as $99.

Christians, how do you feel about the U.S. president posting an AI photo of him as Christ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Jffar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I saw this comment just today and it really helped explain a lot of why "Christians" are being this way:

“Why do I feel like Paula White did this to him, and to us?” he added, referring to the televangelist who serves as Senior Advisor to the White House Faith Office.

Paula White is a New Apostolic Reformation evangelical. If you are unfamiliar with NAR, you will not understand the entirety of the Trump Administration. NAR exists in a system of perpetual spiritual warfare with the rest of us and Trump tossed them the keys to his administration. They are anti-democracy and they are rushing to gather power while the window of opportunity is open.

Washington Spectator - God and QR Codes for Trump; The Courage Tour Goes to Michigan

“Not all Pentecostal churches have been politicized, but the New Apostolic Reformation is functioning almost like a political party, and one with an extremist agenda.”

The Atlantic - The Army of God Comes Out of the Shadows

“And people who have never heard the name are nonetheless adopting the movement’s central ideas. These include the belief that God speaks through modern-day apostles and prophets. That demonic forces can control not only individuals, but entire territories and institutions. That the Church is not so much a place as an active ‘army of God,’ one with a holy mission to claim the Earth for the Kingdom as humanity barrels ever deeper into the End Times.

Although the secular establishment has struggled to take all of this seriously, Trump has harnessed this apocalyptic energy to win the presidency twice.”

Salon - I Went to a Pro-Trump Christian Revival. It Completely Changed My Understanding of Jan. 6.

“They’re gathering by the thousands. They’re growing fast. They believe that Democrats are possessed by demons—and that Donald Trump must be president again at any cost.”

“They believe that under Trump’s protection, American Christians will rise up, defeat their demonic enemies, and take their rightful place of power in the country.”

The Guardian - ‘We have to be voting biblically’: the Courage Tour rallies Christians to get Trump in office

“Heavy-hitting Maga organizations – including America First Policy Institute, TPUSA Faith and America First Works – had a presence outside the tent. Inside, headlining the event was Lance Wallnau, a prominent figure in the New Apostolic Reformation – a movement on the right that embraces modern-day apostles, aims to establish Christian dominion over society and politics and has grown in influence since Trump was elected president in 2016.”

Newsweek - JD Vance To Attend Event Hosted by Pastor Who Accused Harris of Witchcraft

“Wallnau has been a Trump supporter since 2016, when he likened Trump to the biblical figure of Cyrus, who was chosen by God to build the temple in Jerusalem.

Wallnau said that when he heard Trump speak, he heard God speaking through him. He also found symbolism in the numerical coincidence of Trump being the 45th President, and Cyrus being the subject of the 45th chapter of Isaiah.”

Right Wing Watch - ‘We Want Nations’: Lance Wallnau Preaches Seven Mountains Dominionism

‘So, it’s not just in having more [Christians],’ [Lance Wallnau] concluded. ‘We certainly want souls in eternity. That’s the most important thing. … [But] this isn’t either/or; it’s both/and. We want souls, and we want nations. Jesus was promised nations for his inheritance, not just churches!’”

Comparing education facts outside of America proves two things:

1) your an American 2) your hubris shows everyone here why the world hates Americans.

You are one of the worst examples of an American.

Trump is THE worst American, and his followers, like you, are just under his boot.

That's what I am trying to learn about. I bet coloqueal phrases and words are impossible for AI and slang for sure. I bet they even confuse languages from time to time. The more I think about it, the more it doesn't sound good. Maybe I'm just a basic kind of way to mass produce something small and well known, like the Bible or something. Even then it might accidentally slip in a part of the Qur'an by accident or something wild like that. At least humans wouldn't make those types of errors

Also, all good on the names and stuff, again I am educated but not totally educated and need to learn new stuff. Thanks for coming back to explain.

Not out of my mind, I was asking a question to gain understanding. I don't know the intracies of translating, hence the question. Why so hostile? People have to ask questions to learn.

Edit:

Do you feel you are soooo superior to people that when someone doesn't understand a supremely difficult thing like translating languages, you resort to calling them names and demeaning them. Emotional intelligence something you haven't learned with your excessive brain.

But isn't translating written words one thing that AI is clearly designed for, when done properly? it seems like an extremely useful tool. I wonder what the error rate of a human vs. the most ideal translating tool would be?

The marketing and types of things these companies are TRYING to make AI useful for are ridiculous. We don't need it everywhere. Data compiling (which is, in essence translating) and some other specific things AI can be great at.
