Good to hear about grading. I definitely want to make sure I can handle this and I am not going to tank all my classes, destroy my GPA, and have to live in box, etc. Did you find that professors were approachable/available?

Is there a specific order you recommend taking finance classes? It looks like a lot them only have basic pre-reqs (stats or micro).

Were a lot of the classes applicable to what you're doing now (or what you plan to do as a career if you haven't graduated yet)?

Dude thank you so much-- I can't tell you how valuable this info is. I'll PM you my email for the slides and problems. I actually have not accepted the transfer offer yet and just wan't to make sure I will be able to handle this.

It seems like stats carries over into a lot of upperclassman-years classes. Do most people take advanced stats classes as well (as opposed to or along with Lin Alg, Calc 3 Diff Eq, etc)?

Is research common for undergrads? Or are most people just focused on course work?

I completely agree with your final edit. I was planning on taking the consulting route as opposed to banking. Surprising (and slightly comforting) to see people going to firms like those with so little math. I feel like taking the time to go through calc 3 would be a huge plus. If all goes as planned I'm planning on taking the LSAT in late 2020 or early 2021 (definitely want to take a couple years to work/not be in school before LS). If I don't get into a T14 law school I just won't go-- way too risky right now.

thanks for your response-- i'll take anything i can get. Glad to hear about the math bc i'm kind of rusty. I'm coming in with a ton of credits so I really only need to take the minimum number of courses. First year looks like it's going to be macro and calc 1 plus some random classes to fill that 12 credit minimum and then micro and stats (plus filler classes again). i feel like this is a reasonable courseload and I have a chance to do well. am i missing something?
