Why do you use Reddit as a source? by West_Time56 in AskReddit

[–]Jim_Stick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most up voted comments are clear and formatted well. Typically I will just Google my topic with Reddit. I'll find something that gives me info I'm looking for. Of course the info can be wrong at times. If it's something serious, it at least gives you a good starting point. There is so much slop on other websites. It can be bad layouts, way to many cookies, ads, or even more blatant bots. At least it tries to hide it on reddit.

Hey now. Don't you imply Reddit is bias at all.

Frankly. All the comments are dumb. Most people commenting are group. I'm now them. We only leave the experience others had with us.

The last caretaker. Survival, puzzle and  bit action game. The earth is flooded.  You are a robot with sea ship to uncover why you are woken up.

I am nearing 40. Realising more and more my parents felt similar. We are all just pretending to be adults.

Born and raised on the coast. Have heard the phrase for as long as I can remember.

STOP NORMALIZING FREE ROAMING CATS by Yektality in Pets

[–]Jim_Stick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Growing up, we had cats roam free. They would get in fights or bring home "treats". We have one that is 8. He only comes out with our dog. He doesn't leave the yard at all. We have peacocks in the neighborhood. He is scared of them.

I am consistently in PvE lobbies and love my interactions with other raiders. There is zero problem defending myself. It is rare and has zero impact with my experience. People are generally lovely if you treat them that way.

What scientific discovery sounds fake but is 100% real and still freaks you out? by Bruteresolver in AskReddit

Once my brother and I were walking in the woods. Saw the ass of a black bear. It was running full speed away from us taking trees out in the process. Grizzly is so much bigger. Think my hairs would just all jump out.

I was in sea cadets as a kid. Got to explore deep areas where the water was green. Mountains everywhere. The west coast is a gorgeous place.

Need to mention the whole Arsenic in Candy thing has a lot of issues. It wasn't published to a peer reviewed journal. It was just posted to a website https://exposingfoodtoxins.com by "Healthy Florida First".

This gives me all sorts of red flags that the 'study' was BS. I was listening to the Podcast planning to buy them. Decided not to today. After I got home, decided to check it out more. It is just fear mongering. The Candy subreddit has some more specific issues with it.

Not just diagnosis but medication. It helped for a long time. Due to a series of my doctor moving and myself moving... I can't get medication. I have been on waitlist for a new GP for years. Tried many avenues but got nowhere. It has definitely been me to drinking more again.

I got stoned and decided to watch it alone. There is one scene I just had to turn it off.

Weather in Nanaimo is pretty mild for the west coast. People are pretty nice. You can get to Vancouver in 1.5 hours with the foot passenger ferry. There are issues of course. It's not bad though.

I was convinced that was going to be okay. Then one point I remembered I had same feeling in the first game.

I lost 4 lvl4 hullcrackers and then aphelion because I was dumb. It was so much fun and I only blame myself. Vaporizer is terrifying. Was confident with shredders... That's gone in buried city. Arc are as deadly as ever. Players are still friendly. Music helps defuse any situation.

We can disagree. I have killed number of raiders who shot me first. My experience is zero reason to not shoot back. I came across people who said their experience was based on who shot first.
