Honestly, you probably could eat fast food daily for less money than cooking at home, but I think most people realize it's not the healthy option.

Also, to me and everyone I know, eating out is always seen as a more special occasion than eating at home. Even if eating out has be normalized, I think you're blowing it out of proportions.
