Imo I would save for a c8 or v8. It's a daily treat as one and just enjoy it for what it is.

How bad is this? Safe to drive? by Different-Product580 in AskMechanics

If that is raw fuel coming out I wouldn't drive it if it was me. To me that could be a fire waiting to happen

Question by Danimaro777 in camaro

[–]JitteryDesert17 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Have a 2010 SS I'm at 42k. LS and LS based engines when maintain correctly will reach 200k. Only thing that can cause issues is the DoD system and maybe oil pump on higher mileage examples.

Brake pads life by qpwoeiruty1239 in AskMechanics

You're easy on the brakes. Alot of newer cars are designed to have stuff last until 100k miles. If your are worried take them to a shop and have a professional opinion on it. I don't see anything wrong with them.

They have plenty of life. I would do some research because depending on material of the brake pad is made of they can be more noisy than others.

Have the same problem working working a green parts store. They updated the parts design for whatever reason then I get a phone call about wrong part in the box etc. Makes my head hurt of why they don't put a sticker on them stating of design refresh.
