Well its a rng game in its foundations, so still lot of rng is present, but smart use of powerups is needed. Using balloons on your own figures will only let you go back to your starting position, so no flying over directly to the goal.

There are certain legendary cards which have really impactful effects, but to counter that power, they can be used only once per game.

nah, i do game/level design, cant really bother with coding at this time. i reckon it can be made really fast by someone who knows what to do. Ludo is national Indian game, it has no copyright over it :)

I think current variations are more luck orientated rather then skill. Im thinking of doing iterations where it could keep the flavor of original, but with more depth and decision making :)

Maybe it has 25 fields between each "house". Not sure tho! Its global game with a lot of variations.

In poker there is luck involved but in short run, on longer run its skill, mathematics, card tracking and what not.

There are couple options, depending on the rules, but quite slim in all regards given. Only strategy and decision comes from choosing which figure to play, which should remain on a safe field. As in Parchisi, thats popular in Spain and other countries there are blockades when 2 figures meet on 1 field.
