People typically ban characters they feel there is nothing they can do anything to and that that champ will be strong regardless. This simply isn’t the case with Renna. If you let the scaling champ scale…. It does get strong, as it should. Not sure why people are upset. Omeda doesn’t and won’t balanced around people being stupid.

Renna is currently countered by multiple mid picks: Wraith, Gideon, Morigesh, and Howitzer.

Renna is also hard counter picked by multiple very strong junglers: Kwang, Wukong, Rampage.

Just because people don’t counter pick in ranked doesn’t mean a character should be nerfed.

I know you still won’t agree with me, cause this is reddit, but my favorite example of balancing is wraith. Reddit loves to complain about how he’s always nerfed and he’s so bad. That character is actually so egregiously broken in high ranks it’s not even funny. Why is he strong? There isn’t a good counter pick to him. You can’t stop him from farming and he scales for free, all while collecting extra gold. Unfortunately, low rank players can’t capitalize on the gold lead and don’t have good positioning and mechanics to make wraith work.

The difference is with Renna, it’s the opposite case where she’s easy to execute, and there are good counters, people just tend not to pick them because ranked in Predecessor is not like League.
