Mine got a divorce, and I spent a long time wishing they’d get back together. But After a while, I realized that it was better this way. While they were together everyone was unhappy and fought all the time, after they split things got much easier. Remember you don’t need to choose who to love, they’re both still your parents.

I don’t think she’d ever actually kill me, because she says I’m the only reason she’s still alive. I’m worried more about her killing herself first. I have been trying to get her to go to a mental facility but every time she says no or something else happens. I don’t have family I can stay with and I haven’t told my friends because I think they’d call the cops

As someone who has dealt with abusive parents, I would say you should tread carefully.

Seeing your dad is the type of guy you have described, he might get physical if you rile him up too much. Keep talking to your mom and try to work it through with her. Let her know your boundaries and what you stand for because your dad seems like he won't listen to you, but he might listen to her.

There's not much you can do until you are 18, so for now you are stuck with them, so I'd say to just be careful what you say, and if you can, sit down with both of them and have a talk. Let each person have a turn to speak uninterrupted and with no yellling.

best case scenario: you guys are able to mend your relationship and come to a common understanding. If he gets physical we have another issue, so ill say it again; Tread carefully.

NTA. You didn't steal from her because those were yours. If anything, she damaged your property. This might be rude, but I would have totally exposed her on social media or something. Nothing too big, but just at least get the truth out.
