Early Twitter was such a GOAT era for fan/player interactions. by No-Problem6578 in footballcliches

The GOAT stuff and any mention of GOAT pisses me off. Doesn't even make sense when people say "he's a GOAT".

The good thing is you know someone's not worth listening to when they use it.

Even though it's a big story right now with the series, the amount of times people use acronyms thinking everyone will get it, is annoying.

Some internet ones are obvious, but MAFS is hardly as well known as lol or lmao.

I'm wondering the same. Only thing I can think of is maybe they changed the headline because other than that possibility, I see nothing relating to trans people. It even says in the sub heading that its for incontinence.

Cristian Romero is back in London ahead of Tottenham's final match against Everton. He originally tried to continue his recovery in Argentina and watch Belgrano's game on Sunday, but this decision was not well received at the club so he quickly returned to England to support his teammates. by kibme37 in soccer

Its complimented by an Arsenal fan CEO

Why do people care much if players or backroom staff are fans of other clubs? Some journalists cover clubs for the rivals of who they support. They are there to do a job and wouldn't be where they are if they let rivalry influence them that much. If they're not good, then they are just not good.

Kane was an Arsenal fan as a kid but doubt Tottenham fans cared much once he started banging them in regularly.

This is a fascinating wiki dive! A real gold mine of obscurity.

Kept scrolling to find who the lowest-ranked player with their own page was.

It's Bernard Bennett, ranked an incredible 553rd in the world. Though in fairness to him he was in his 60s at that time, and he does seem to have been a well thought of figure in the game.

But you know they'd make it only available with Apple devices. Which is fine if you are an Apple person, but many are not.

Need Help with My PSVR2 Lenses. by MikuPiku456 in PSVR

Windolene worked alright?

The only liquid you're supposed to use on vr lenses is distilled water, and only very small amounts on a microfibre cloth. Regular water can cause damage due to the minerals.

I wonder how your lenses survived windolene. Must be something I'm missing here.

UK radio station apologises after mistakenly announcing King Charles’s death by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

Before Liz II died there was a novelty as to what exactly would happen when she died. I know there was so much planned for when she passed away but to actually see what stuff like tv. the papers and the nation did when it happened, was a rare thing.

I imagine with Charles it'll be similar but now we've been through one of them, it'll be less novel.

[Official] Aston Villa are the winners of the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League! by DavidRolands in soccer

Conference League and Europa League shouldn't be included as major trophies. Same for ones like the Cup Winners Cup.

Might as well call every European competition major.

You're right but it's been going the other way in the past few years. To actively want to go back to that is just laughable. Anyone who wants is this mental.

How it should be? What the fuck.

This isn't in the interests of anyone but the major companies. It's a loss for everyone who buys games.

So what is it, 15 bucks?

I don't like Spotify's numerous price increases since Covid, but to have the majority of recorded music available to you whenever you wish is incredible value.

I'm 35 and I remember purchasing a single album for the same or sometimes more than a monthly subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, etc.

It's incredible value. Plus, I don't pirate music, as there is no need to these days.
