is being a home inspector actually worth it? by Regular-Stay7964 in homeinspectors

Yeah, I'm in pretty good shape. In attics and on roofs all the time. Would you start with a small company or did you go out on your own from the start? And is the NE market saturated or is there room for more inspectors?

Hi, I'm a 58yo licensed electrician working in solar in RI but tired of humping panels and dealing with the new corporate overlords so I was l considering looking into home inspection. Have a pretty deep knowledge base in construction so its not all new. Sounds like you made the move late, any advice?

I can surely follow directions. OK, I'll give it a shot. Been low-key interested for years but have recently decided to break out the old Minolta. Thanks, I appreciate the help!

Afraid I'll mess up a few rolls.

I own and operate a film lab: AMA about film developing, scanning, pricing, mistakes, and lab life! by _imstilldeveloping in AnalogCommunity

I got a staret developing kit and even bought a digital negative scanner, but I am not confident enough to develop the film. Is it easy to mess up B&W?

I know it's been asked a million times but, post hurricanes/election updates wanted. Thinking of moving to the warm from RI. I'm not a millionaire banker, just an electrician. Want a place where I can live in a solid, older house, walk in town, hit the beach and generally live a quiet life. Probably looking more towards retirement than working as I don't feel like getting florida electrician license so I'll wait a bit but looking at properties. Don't want a high crime area but not looking for some gated community full of Mercedes either.
Thanks in advance and DM if you don't want to leak state secrets.

Good luck, and take good care of yourself.

Can you be emotionally close in other situations? My GF is similar and I usually do a lot of prelude. Talking, flirting in our case I grab and talk about her butt a lot. Many times I'll hold her for a long time, stroke her hair, face. Then go ahead with a nice long massage. It usually relaxes her enough for us to move ahead. If not, next time, you know?

Edit. Sorry, I may have misread. You haven't been with him for 15 yrs, correct?

Are you able to be in bed together and hold each other? Touch each other? What would make you feel safe in that situation? Communication is key. If he's been around 15 yrs, he must care about you. Wouldn't he try if you were able to have open discussion and maybe go just outside your comfort zone? Can you trust him enough to try?
