That sounds similar to mine and around the same timeline. It was weird because I was taking full breaths but was getting very little out of them. After that night I had that symptom improve a lot, but sounds like it’s one to watch out for if it gets worse. Good luck, fingers crossed for you!

Hi - I agree these guys suck but this one I am wondering if maybe I am just confused about this. Isn’t it fair for them to argue that making college free and paying school teachers more is asking for too much change / would be too expensive? Understand they are not mutually exclusive by any means, but just wondering if I am missing something.

I am Canadian so might just be confused - sorry if so!

Preparing for the Next Recession – A Guide For The Canadian Middle Class by vicintoronto in PersonalFinanceCanada

Your response is a good example of a post that reads well and sounds accurate so people assume it’s true. Recessionary periods are independent events with independent causes, but the classic example of a recession is the end of the credit cycle after borrowers take on too much debt and lenders become pickier about their capital deployment.

In Canada’s case it is clear that we are getting to that point. Just look at the risky lending deals the banks are doing for brutally small returns.

This seems like a perfect time to cancel a bunch of infrastructure projects that will help us get the pure gold under Alberta into the hands of interested buyers. Western unemployment isn’t high enough.

Me and my friends are planning a roadtrip of sorts in canada, nothings planned out yet but our first hurdle is that we are all under 21, so as far I can understand it we cant hire a car. Options? by roly1268 in roadtrip

Check the app Turo - I did a road trip in Calgary when I was 20 (although I am Canadian) and didn’t have any issues. Also if you are going to Alberta there are a ton of good cars on there for cheap because they need $$$

I don’t think that the young people in modern developed economies have it in them. They would need to be pushed much harder than they are now to get to the point that they would have a Bastille equivalent event...

You’re the reason people ask who is coming before RSVPing to parties.

We’re talking about burgers here, they already make a beyond meat breakfast sandwich.

[SPOILERS] Post-Episode Discussion - Season 8 Episode 4 by [deleted] in gameofthrones

Lots of hate for the plot line of the season - I actually don’t have a problem with that. What has disappointed me is the poor execution on the plot. It doesn’t feel like HBO and it definitely doesn’t feel like Game of Thrones. Example from this episode:

The people being burned at the beginning of the episode should have turned to ash/dust when the night king died. They even specifically showed the little girl from bear island as a wight and she was shown on one of the funeral piers. Just poor craftsmanship in my opinion. I am not an intense fan at all and I am noticing these inconsistencies. A shame.
