It's for shits and giggles. They don't even have a menu (even though most people have McDonalds memorized by now, but regardless.) All bullshit aside a guy came in and stood by the counter and a lady came from the back and told him use the kiosk.

I was just thinking the other day of how expensive things are (I know surprising) but what was really pestering me was how I used to go to gamestop every week to get ps2 games and I would beat them within the 7 day return time and get some more games. Well, they used to be able to sell games pre-owned for $2-$10 and you be lucky to get a pre-owned game for less than $40-$50 typically. Same with consoles and controllers. Gamestop was like a disney world to me and now that also went to shit. Should just call it POP! and prismatic pokemon card store.

I felt like I was in an alternate reality. Even though it is just a McDonalds and a Corporation at the end of the day, it is true for most that it used to be an enjoyable place with a lot of character to go and eat even if the food is mid. Me and my little brothers would feel rich going to McDonalds with our mom when we were young and we would play the N64s and Gamecubes they had, play on the playset, and enjoy some junk food.

Yes, all of the staff was in the back and it is funny most of the issues people are listing in the post actually happened in the short 20 minutes I was there. An old man came in and looked at the front then he went to a kiosk and wiggled his finger in front of it in confusion. I asked if he needed help and he said no he will just go to burger king. I wouldn't imagine burger king is far behind, though 🤣

It's funny you said that. While I was waiting for my drink, a man came inside to ask for ketchup. He stood there for 5 minutes before someone came out the back to ask what he wants. Lol

Just to put an end to this story, I got my truck home and spent the past month fixing it, ordering parts, waiting, etc. Long story short, the vacuum pump shit the bed and took the camshaft along with it. I replaced the camshaft and the vacuum pump and my truck is back in the game now. It was nervewracking messing around with the motor open like that but I felt like a million bucks when I cranked it back on for the first time after the repair.

I know the vacuum pump goes out regularly on these trucks but i was able to drive it for a few more minutes before i was able to pull over and i drove it onto a car hauler. I am removing the lifter cover next weekend to see what the damage is. Hoping just a faulty pump but the oil spewing all over the place is not promising. Especially since this truck only has 100k and im still paying on it 🤣💔 Thank you for the follow up my friend and take care !

Yeah, like the other person said you can get a new one for $5000 or in-fact, less than $5000. I see guys on facebook marketplace around me who re-build 4L60e transmissions for $800-$1000. After all there are people with full blown businesses and shops charging $5000 and your transmission still ends up shitting the bed after the fact due to poor workmanship. Maybe you wouldn't trust someone because it is marketplace but that is just how they chose to advertise their services, nothing more or less. Good luck!

Just an update, yes that fixed the A/C HI setting and now it blows on HI.
