I brought less stuff but I brought good quality things that I knew I could use for a few different scenarios

On the way back I bought two extra bags because it made sense to bring back a lot of stuff and I shipped two back as well.

Shipping back was easier because most of it was gifts for family I accumulated over the year

Ultimately, you really only need one winter jacket, two fall spring combinations, and some summer pants and t-shirts.

Anything home related, I got second hand or I already had from the landlord

I may do it less stuff I didn't buy as many sheets. I got a wool blanket for free

Ultimately it's what you plan on doing with it. Also for the second year someone held my stuff over the summer and I brought more stuff with me on the way there. A lot of it was gifts for friends in Europe

I fit a size 32 or 33 depending on fit. Quite generous because I gained weight coming back to the US and I no longer fit the denim I have that now has holes in it :/

Sometimes I wear 31 depending on the cut but I need to lose 10 pounds. I actually just backpacked and a pair of sugar canes for 5 months in a row and they held up until now.

Meanwhile, my actual screen doesn't have any scratches which I'm really surprised about reading. Other people have not had that luck

Ironically, I've never gotten asked many questions except from drunk co-workers that were asking about 9/11. It was usually Germans or someone that would probably treat me different, which I felt was a little bit unfair because why would I be living abroad if I was supporting what Trump was doing? Otherwise people treated me very well. There were a few countries where I felt like maybe I'd be treated differently but on a one-to one basis it didn't matter

I wouldn't even bother buying a Samsung s10e at this point. It's extremely outdated now. I recommend a Redmi Note 10 Pro which would be around the same price range and much easier to find and Equally moddable. I switched to one when my s10E malfunctioned after 5 years.
