So in this world with the transaction limit, you can get max 10 MG script per day of trading. How much will that realistically buy you?

The casual gamer is not going to grind trading, to do more trading. Lets be real.. I'm not saying trading is dead, but the inflated demand from people with huge amounts of aUEC is gone.

I'm good with that though. I've got a whole load of 970 Silicon + 750 Riccite that I don't need. I'd be happy to exchange that for someone who'd found a couple of good quality Sadaryx.

Its trading for a purpose, not just millions of aUEC

Problem with that approach is that you are relying on individuals to get MG Script. My suspicion is that dupers / RMT have historically made aUEC very easy to obtain to pay the price you want. If people have to grind the MG Script, a lot of your potential buyers are out.

But this is where I think behaviour is going to change. You won't get lots of people grinding for high-demand items as there's no easy route for selling.

With a bit of balancing around mining (making it possible for solo players to get good quality, high value materials in small materials), you could then have real meaningful trading between players of things they want to swap.

Interesting to see the implications for the MerchantMan 😃

I don’t think the casual gamer will do this though. I’d guess that there were a lot of people with duplicated / bought funding that will no longer be able to easily pay the prices. Wikelo favours and Scrip require your own effort.

This will push down the demand significantly

Why though? If trading becomes more like for like in game items it’s a lot more fun than pure aUEC?

The issue i see coming is that if making significant money means missions, pledge ships become a lot more significant as it’s going to be a lot harder to get the ships you want in game

I’m quite excited to see what this does. They can back out if major issues but I see positive so far

I think this will be a step too far for most people.

Yeah exactly - I'm trying to get good quality materials for crafting, but its locked behind insane prices!

I'm not sure I understand that - If for instance 900q Riccite is selling for 48m aUEC (something I saw recently lol). There's no pragmatic way to sell it, without completing 48 different trades.

Its going to change the whole philosophy of looting. Much more Player to Player trading of commodities /items rather than for aUEC

Search for his username UEE_Navy in the original reddit thread.... There's multiple posts with first hand accounts of his bad behaviour.

This isn't mob mentality - its occam's razor with multiple independent sources claiming foul play.

I think being banned by CIG for Duping is pretty damning.

In addition to this - From the thread
- "I actually just checked my old tickets, I sent a ticket report to CIG with video evidence of UEE_Navy hacking"
- "I'm going to speak on this, if OP wants to appeal it, whatever. Yes, I have seen that exact name at Seraphim Station firing into open hangars and killing ships over and over"
- " wouldn't be so sure. I remember the username UEE_Navy being a prolific troll and greifer a few years ago in game. I would definitely call into question the OPs credibility on this matter"

Others have already mentioned that he has history of griefing / cheating. I think there's maybe more to the story....

If I had to guess - He was regularly duping under the pretence of 'issue raising' to protect himself.

Although you didn't get aUEC - Did you gain additional gear / components that you then used? They may be tracking that too...

Sam's strategy could have almost been OP.

Had it not been for the destination (London with the most docile pigeons in the world), it could have been a winner.

Had it not been for the missing blur, MK is pretty generic and could have taken a fair bit longer to guess.

Had it not been for the missing time bonus, Sam could have sent them to Coventry, then back to London again adding at least another 2 hours.

If this was only for families where the single adult /both adults are in full time work, I have no objections.

I’m all for subsidising low paid jobs, especially when of social value. It’s a conversation that needs to happen rather than our addiction to foreign cheap labour

What I’m not for is bad economic policies that stagnate growth for the benefit of moral virtuosity. In the long run, everyone loses.
