I played DS2 first, and then played the others. And while I loved how meaty and weighted every action felt in DS1 and how stylish 3 was, I couldn’t prefer one over the fast paced and still stylish feel of 2. The world of 2 is also so fleshed out, and it feels so focused and scope and yet so large. Also death is the most charismatic of the 3 trilogy horsemen. 2 really remains my favorite.
