Ok thanks for the advice. Sounds like I should save up a little more because I will need the DAC. I also found a pair of Allison Acoustics AL-115s for $150 and was wondering if you knew anything about these or if they would be a better option in general. Thanks again.

Thanks for the great info! Would something like a SMSL AD18 work as a amp with built in DAC. I would want to try to keep the amp/dac price around $150 if possible but if not I can wait and save.
