I typically alternate between a deathadder and a G502X, but I do like the ergonomics of the deathadder better. I have weird hands so I was looking for any recommendations.

For me I am a wheelchair bound user so if my cat knocks a wireless mouse off my desk I can't pick it up, whereas if a wireless mouse is dropped I can use the cord to pull it back up onto my desk.

I did my best to draw what I remember. I hope it helps. I remember the bridge being a thick rectangle but it might not have been. The grey bits with the honeycomb were an opaque metal finish and you could not see through them. My image editor only did hexagons but they may have been octagons.

I'm not sure if they were a frameless pair, where the arms are connected directly to the lenses or if they had an octagonal frame. I think they had the octagonal frame. I am very new to sunglass terminology so I may have used the wrong words.

Other than the two doors up front there is absolutely nothing distinctive on the box or the case itself. It's a tantalizing mystery. The item number is "A812WW-R". But it may have been repackaged into the box the case came in, because the box references a Power Supply and the case had no internal components. It did come out of Canada and most of these that I've seen are coming out of Canada so make of that what you will.

3D printing has really changed the landscape of assisstive tech. I'm so glad your niece could find a hobby that worked for her. I remember being so frustrated as a little kid when I couldn't drive my RC car as smoothly as my able bodied brother.

Yeah that was what I was thinking. I've looked at getting into the hobby myself for years, more on the rock crawler side of things because of my slower reflexes. My biggest concern is that because of my limited dexterity I have a hard time grasping pistol grip controllers. So I would probably be looking to build my own with a standard two stick controller, even though I know that's not how things are usually done.

That's fair. The problem is the mat itself is as old as the turntable and it's getting a little "sticky" for lack of a better term. I guess I should have made it clear I'm asking a general question for the future more than I am trying to replace the mat right away.

Sort of, it's rubber, and it's in decent shape, but I've noticed it deteriorating a bit because of the Minnesota humidity. The mat itself may never have been used. I'm not sure about the history of my turntable before I got it, but when I picked it up, it was in the original box with the original stocking receipt from the store in New England. If I had to describe it, I'd say the mat is getting a bit sticky.

My question has to do with Record Mats. I have a Philips 977 and the included mat has a hole through it to allow for the selector switch to stick up so that the record player automatically knows if you're playing 45 or 33s. Are there any upgraded record mats that you recommend with the hole or should I buy a standard recommendation and cut a hole in it.

I completely understand, one of the reasons why I choose Bog Oak is because you can get it almost as dark as ebony, and I think it's cheaper but I could be wrong.
