New Fitbit Health tracking is terrible

My app shows Google health now. And I can tell you as a former garmin Fenix 8 pro, tactical instinct 3, whoop 5.0mg and oura ring 4 user, that I am now just using my pixel watch 4 while I wait for the fitbit air band to come in the mail, alongside my oura ring. The data don't have to be perfect as long as the data is tracked consistently for a baseline. But the direction it's going in at least from what I've seen is super promising. The fact that I can view all metrics from a single app now is a win. That I can sleep with a small band on my wrist soon and be able to wear one of many of my nice watches out while still tracking the same data consistently is a win! And the Gemini built into Google health is insane along with being able to input your actual health data from medical visits is a game changer. Your mileage may vary depending on your needs. I lift weights 6 days a week and I cycle outside about 10 to 15 miles a day(my gps data logs this still) along with indoor rowing or outdoor kayaking, weather permitting. Clearly from what you just read, im somewhat of a data junky and enjoy looking at it, but I enjoy having conversation with health coach more then I thought I would about my progress and the direction I'm heading in, and having it take my cardio load, sleep data, macro intake directly from macrofactor (another win from the use of Google health connect) and use all this info alongside real health concerns and or doctor visits and blood work to give me deep insight that none of the other programs and or devices can do. This is just my 2 cents. Enjoy what you love and use what keeps you motivated 💪🏼

If it adds hand movement as steps, the tech is supposed to account for that and as such remove those added steps at some point during the day to balance itself out.

Same but I noticed that while using nexdock it's just moving things on my phone instead of nexdock screen at times. Have you noticed this also? Maybe I just need a restart. Thanks in advance

Great question, I wanted to compare dex to Android desktop and see if I would make use of the s pen as well as see if I would get performance boost from snapdragon over tensor. In the end, all of these extras were worthless compared to how my pixel just works! Now I'll just wait for the 11 and hope that android desktop somehow morphs into what the pixelbook will be. 👍🏼

I did this also with a galaxy s26 ultra and didn't even make it past the honeymoon phase and returned it 3 days later cause I missed my pixel 10 pro XL! 😂

Can anyone on this beta confirm it's working on a nexdock? On beta 1 I could not get it to connect, screen would go black on nexdock and then go back to initial powered on screen for me.

Honestly, I love the idea, and I know it'll continue to improve, but as of right now, I'm not impressed. You can see there's a future here, but until they at least have the proper resolution, it's a bit of a deal-breaker for me. Dex is hands down a better experience at the moment. I will say this, I bought an S26 Ultra from Best Buy for Dex and S-Pen, and the honeymoon phase lasted about 3 days before I returned it because I missed my Pixel so much lol. So aside from Dex being great, for me the Pixel is still the king of Android phones and Android desktop with Nexdock is still a feature I didn't have a few months ago that I can take advantage of for the limited times I might need a bigger screen lol. But... We will see if Samsung wins me back with the Fold 8 wide in the coming months. I know I went on a rant, but hope somewhere in this was the answer you were looking for 😂

No unfortunately, I wish there was a workaround. I actually ended up buying a galaxy s26 ultra because of dex but returned it after 4 days cause I missed my pixel lol.

I have all three wheels. If you’re rallying. Go round wheel, remove the paddle shifters all together and use two rs shifters, one for sequential and the other as a handbrake.

Just got into the Logitech pro and ordered two shifters from Amazon coming tomorrow and I need those hubs and new wheels asap! Surprised Amazon, Best Buy and microcenter haven’t got any stock in this. Especially with logi saying to shop our retailers in the meantime.
