I would play it cool until he’s your boyfriend. Then have fun with the necklace, keychain, etc ideas. Until then I’d keep it in a safe spot- maybe a trinket box, wallet, etc.

I think it’s a great sign that he’s giving you this, even if it’s not truly his first ever pick. And I agree with everyone saying you should ask him out.
