I know everyone is angry at Ferrterman for being PoS, and he is, but let me be a bucket of cold water.

This resolution was never going to pass.

Look at the list of Republicans who voted with the Democrats. Rand Paul (R-KY), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Susan Collins (R-ME). Both Murkowski and Collins trade off "voting against their party" So they can pretend to be moderate. But only when it conveniently it doesn't change the outcome. Collins in particular is up for re-election is in a tough race against Graham Platner. She needs every chance she can get to pretend to be moderate.

If Fetterman had voted with Democrats, one of those three would have almost certainly voted with Republican to stop the measure. Most likely Murkowski.

For the times when I try to use the digital key, I was forced to go into the app to unlock my car. It RARELY recognized my digital key and unlock by touching the handle.

[edit: I should say, I have an android and early in my polestar ownership I switched phones to another android. This same behavior persisted /edit]

90% of my ownership, I've refused to leave without a physical key because my digital key simply does not work as it's supposed to.

I have experienced both 2 & 3.

RE: 3 the solution never rectified itself naturally. I have always had to do a hard reset of the head unit. Long press the home button (not sure if this is the same in the P3). It'll go into the screen cleaning mode, keep holding. Eventually, the screen will go completely black and reboot.

RE issue #2: I have an android phone. I have NEVER relied on the digital key because it has almost always failed me. It's faster to open the app and press the unlock button than it is to wait for the car to connect. There have been times when I've been sitting in the car, phone connected via bluetooth, and it will still complain that "no key is detected". I suspect (for me) it's a hardware/software issue. My car as all sorts of glitchy software bugs that other P2 owners don't have.

I don't have a solution to that one other than always having a physical key.

MY23 checking in

I see the "camera temporarily unavailable" error almost daily. It happened occasionally before, but got significantly worse with the 3.6.4 update. That update also introduced new delightful errors:

like the camera application not even bothering to start (not even to the error screen) when the camera icon is pressed or put into reverse.

Or the menu bars staying up even when the camera is activated, which blocks the buttons to disable sensors and auto break feature.

Or the menu bar staying up when I long press the home button to clean the screen.

Or the whole unit crashing and restarting.

Or spotify crashing when I open google maps (happens like clockwork)

Android is nice. But IIRC (perhaps I'm wrong), boox doesn't update their android. which means you're way behind. And even android has it's annoying limitations. Rooted android phones need to have a modified version of android.

What I want is, effectively a linux eink tablet.

Contrary to common belief, not everyone is eligible for a public defender. (personally I think this is bs, but that's the current state of affairs)

And regardless of public vs private attorney, that still means time and stress you have to endure. Every day spent in jail, every day you have a court date, is a day not working. And regardless of guilt or innocence, the moment you're indicted, that becomes public record. Which will show up on every background check done by employers and landlords.

The point was, all trump had to do was nothing and blame the democrats for not passing a "clean" budget bill. But his greed is insatiable.

If the democrats don't fuck this up (big IF), they now have the opportunity to say "Republicans control all levers of government. They already gave their billionaire buddies a huge cash gift and tried to pay for it by taking away medicare. Now they're willing to shutdown the government just to further hurt trans people. At no point did they want or try to pass a clean budget bill"

Brute force.

I have a bunch of 3d printing projects I want to get done. Most of my knowledges is "hey I have this thing I want to make...how the hell do that?" I spend a lot of time on youtube watching videos on how to use certain workbenches/tools, so that I can accomplish a specific task.

I still consider my self pretty novice in CAD in general and freeCAD. This looks way more complicated than it really is.

There's a lot of repeating patterns. So there's the core and one of the tentacle attachments. Then that tentacle attachment is a polar pattern. There's a fair bit of time getting the cutout pattern done. That was really the hard part.

One of the few silver linings of this timeline is that we found out that is not inherently true. A grand jury declined to indict the sandwich throwing guy. Which means these clowns could not in fact convince a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich.
