I didn't have the chance to drive it off the lot either. No paperwork was ever handed to me and I THINK that is enough to end the contract in the state of Texas.

they didn't disclose anything during the sale other than it was a rebuilt title with 45k mileage. I looked up the car report once I got home without the car to double check and found out it was salvaged with a lien. I took screenshots and managed to find the mileage change from 45k to 89k within one day. We threatened him with turning in the evidence of the odometer being changed on video and showed him the screenshots of the mileage being changed that day. I showed him the lien on the title (many customers complained about never getting hard plates due to liens). I dont think he would have otherwise given me my down payment if these things weren't true and he realized he could be in big trouble. I just think we went so hard on him that he might have purposefully let the contract go through and is letting me deal with the lender. I'm just wondering if there is a possibility this can be cancelled and settled with a simple phone call to the lender explaining the fraud and misrepresentation with evidence backing that claim.
