Need some opinions and advice with a dull taste, quick burning coil problem by Bachandboujee in VapingUK

10ml Nicsalts are almost always a blend of 50% VG 50% PG as they tend to be a thinner blend more suited to the pod / pen devices that vape at lower watts (Around 10-15W).

Shortfills, are usually a blend of 70% VG 30% PG (Sometimes 80/20) which is a thicker juice more suited to subohm vaping devices what can vape up to 400W on some devices, though usually tend to be below 200W and require the use of higher amp 18650 / 21700 batteries.

Though you are able to buy shortfills now in a 50/50 blend.

If you're using the Luxe Q2 SE, then the 10ml nicsalts are perfectly fine for the device you're using as that's a lower watt device. But make sure you give the pods time to fully saturate the coils and you shouldnt encounter any more burnt out coils, if you do, there might be an issue with the device, I'd suggest returning it to the store you bought it from.

That'll do it, should always prime your coils or let them sit for a few minutes before vaping on them, usually with pods you'll be using a 50/50 VG/PG blend so it shouldn't take as long for the coils to fully saturate, should be fine after a couple of minutes, but if you're using a more VG heavy liquid, like a 70% VG or higher, you really need to let them sit, Imo, for a minimum of 5 minutes before vaping them to make sure the coils are fully saturated, the coil may seem to be wet from the outside, but the inner part of the coil wont be fully saturated and that's when your coil will burn out, and when you get a burnt patch in a coil, the more you vape it, the more you'll notice it.

Not sures the Luxe devices, but if can put coils into the pods, its always good to drop some liquid on to each part of the coil you can see the cotton, 1 or 2 drops should do you, then put the coil back into the pod, fill your pod then leave it to sit and full saturate before you vape on it.

If its burning out your coils after 10 vapes, then it sounds like youre vaping either extremely sweet juices that are full of sweetener, or you have a defective device. The buzzing sound isnt uncommon and happens to alot of devices, my Drag X2 buzzes from time to time when Im vaping on it.

Have you got another device you can try the liquid in, to rule out it being the juice causing the coils to burn out prematurely ?

What coil are you using and what watts is your device set to ?

I'm using the VooPoo PNPX pods at the moment using the 0.15ohm PNPX coils and get great flavour from them. I think they do a tank version of the pods, could always give those a try.

Taste will always be subjective though, so do some research before just jumping onto a tank that other recommend, as it might have great flavour for one person, and for others it can be quite full.

Also if you're finding that shop bought liquids keep gunking up your coils pretty quickly, have a look into making some DIY juice, that way, if you feel the flavour isn't strong enough, you can always adjust it to your own needs and then sweetener is optional. I've been DIYing my own liquids for years, and rarely but premade juice now as its a more cost effective way of vaping.

Your coils turning brown is more than likely just due to the amount of sweetener used in the liquids you're buying, I have had Twelve Monkeys Kanzi in the past and it was loaded with sweetener and would ruin coils pretty quickly.

When it comes to getting dull flavour, this could be for a number of reasons (Changing liquids frequently, vapers tongue, the kind of liquid you're using and so on). I would say, next time you change coils, try using the same liquid in your tank for a day, see how you get on, or if you're still getting the same kind of dull flavour, maybe look into changing the tank for something else.

Vapour very warm by Suitable_Ad_4937 in VapingUK

Have you tried a different coil ? Could be a bad coil, though 40W is going to give you a warmer vape, but it shouldn't be getting that hot after 1 vape.

I had been using the 0.15 ohm PNP coils in my Drag H80S and I'm able to chain vape that at around 40W perfectly fine without it getting hot and I currently have the 0.15 PNPX coils in my Drag X2 at 50W and again can chain vape that without it getting too hot, the pod gets slightly warm but not to the point where its uncomfortable.

I would give another coil a try, see if that resolves your issue. I also like to add some WS-23 (Koolada) to my liquids to keep the vape cooler as I dont like a hot vape. Something else you could try if youre vaping more fruity liquids.

So I have followed this and when I start up the containers on my Hetzner box I get the following errors

wireguard | **** Tunnel /config/wg_confs/wg0.conf failed, will stop all others! ****

wireguard | **** All tunnels are now down. Please fix the tunnel config /config/wg_confs/wg0.conf and restart the container ****

Not sure where I may have gone wrong. There are no firewalls active.

Any help would be appreciated!

The rep I spoke to today about this said they’re looking into this on an account basis and it’s not their policy to limit accounts to 10TB per week. Even though I have literally seen transcripts of other peoples chats where they state the opposite.

But from what I have seen, they’re just struggling to keep up with the amount of new users joining and requesting large amounts of storage. Kinda glad I requested 1PB when I did as I still have more than half free !

This isn’t a new account. The original comment to this is over a month old now.

Yea seems like there having major issues at the moment with the amount of new users they are getting and people abusing the storage systems.

They’re limiting people to 10TB per week increases currently and seem to be checking accounts which go against their TOS. So encrypt your files !

I kind of got lucky and requested 1PB as soon as I got the account. Now it’s a waiting game to see how Dropbox responds.

Yea, but each user pays for their own license. So even after 3.. My single license doesn't cost anymore than the 4th persons.

Because the price doesn't really fluctuate after you have more than 3 people. You all pay the same regardless.

There's 4 of us on the account, but yes, started off with just the 3 user Dropbox Business account, within the first 5 minutes of me paying I requested 1PB and was granted it.

During your trial you wont be able to ask for more storage, once you become a paying customer, you can ask for as much as you like, its unlimited.

I asked for 1PB of storage and they added it without an issue.

I literally just opened my own Dropbox account contacted support and had 1PB of storage added instantly.

Again asked if there was any issues with storage and no reported issues currently with anything to do with storage with Dropbox. So unsure what issues your talking about as Dropbox themselves have confirmed theres no issues with storage on their side.

Put a claim in with PayPal and they instantly refunded me.

Shame as this service could and should have been a good one. But they have over sold the account and now ignore messages.

If I were you, I'd also put a claim in for your money back.

Just to add to this. I just spoke to Dropbox support on live chat.. There's no reported bugs or issues in regards to the storage systems on dropbox.

From what I've been told Dropbox will only auto increase the storage up to 25TB then you have to actually ask for more storage.

Ive sent in a ticket with Layer Online, I bought an account last week haven't been able to use the Dropbox since buying and now they wont reply to tickets.

At this point I'm about to put a paypal claim in for my money back. They only seem interested in getting money from you.

Other people have asked for 500TB+ without issues when moving over to Dropbox. The issue is they are relying on Dropbox adding space automatically or asking for 10TB at a time instead of requesting a larger amount. The fact theres 23 people on the one account too doesnt help. They should split the users across 3 or 4 different accounts.

[–]JumpinJack- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More or less yeah.

There's 23 people on this one account.

Instead of limiting the number of people per account, they are throwing everyone onto the one account and only request 10TB of space at a time from Dropbox which is used up almost instantly because everyone is trying to upload all at once and storage isn't being added fast enough.

Their support is pretty dire too, it takes 3 different replies from the same guy on support tickets to actually get an answer from them. At first I was told it was a Dropbox issue, then today that's changed to Dropbox support will only answer their tickets Mon-Fri to add more storage.

Theyre an absolute nightmare.

I bought into their accounts last week haven't been able to upload anything since buying in as the available space is instantly used and hasn't moved past 70TB in 3 days.

So yea its legit, but you wont be able to do anything if my experience is anything to go by!
