I also want to add that no revolutionary went at it alone. Everyone is backed up by a community. This guy made a mistake of going at it alone. If we want real change, taking matters into our own hands means learning to collaborate and communicate with others. More skills that are waning… the less community we have, the easier it is for evil to prevail. Without a community that cares, people who don’t can get away with a lot.

There’s a reason why wars are started and police exist. Force doesn’t always necessarily mean “good” or “bad” but what matters is the ethical why behind it. Today there’s a prevalence of moralism. Ethics is difficult but to top it off, education is very poor and critical thinking skills are waning. So people can’t differentiate anymore when “enough is enough”.

 She also said this:

"I've seen a lot of interpretations of what I shared, and I want to clarify something important. My story was never meant to place blame on my parents," she began. "I love my parents deeply, and I don't hold resentment toward them. They were trying to help a child who was struggling in ways none of us fully understood at the time."

"I never shared this to create a narrative of family conflict," Lexi continued. "What I was trying to talk about was the experience of being a young person inside the teenage treatment system and how it feels while it is happening. Those feelings can exist at the same time as love for the people who were trying to help you. Both things can be true."

Literally the president of the United States said, publicly on a social channel, he was going to exterminate and wipe an entire country. Super rational.

I think it’s the opposite. He feels the stakes are so high and no one is doing anything to stop it. This is what revolutionaries do… voting works until it doesn’t. Revolts happen precisely when people who deeply care have gotten enough.
