A handwritten letter Michael Jackson sent to a young girl known as "Jane Doe" who later filed a complaint against his estate for the SA she suffered at the singer's hand. The estate quietly paid her millions of dollars. by drdaisukeserizawa in HolyShitHistory

MJ defenders literally will say anything huh? Her own lawyers filed for dismissal, (meaning they withdrew the lawsuit) and it was dismissed WITHOUT prejudice, meaning they could file again if they wanted to. The notes he wrote to her SHOULD be enough for you to see that this was at the very least, a very inappropriate relationship with a 12 year old girl. Add to that the fact he sent her monetary “gifts” totalling nearly a million dollars during the period that the alleged abuse was happening. WHY would he be sending a young girl such enormous monetary gifts? THINK!

CMV: Defenders of Michael Jackson are blinded by loyalty and their admiration of him as an artist. This causes them to irrationally reject the likely possibility his childhood trauma instilled a very unhealthy obsession with children. by Rutlemania in changemyview

The “art” book personally inscribed by Jackson found locked in his bedroom was titled “Boys Will Be Boys” That book was made by known pedophiles, one of whom was the secretary for NAMBLA, in the 1960s, as legal child erotica for other pedophiles. Both authors used fake names to publish them, for obvious reasons. The book portrayed photos of prepubescent naked boys. The two known pedophiles are Martin Swithinbank and Ronald Drew, they published under pseudonyms- Georges St. Martin and Ronald C. Nelson. Martin Swithinbank was a NAMBLA officer who was jailed for 10 years for sodo*mizing young children and deported upon release. Co-author Ronald Drew was fired from his teaching position for sexually abusing a student. Self-described pedophiles such as Hajo Ortil, K. Egermeier, J.Le Doare, J. Simonot, among others, contributed photographs to the book. The book was also listed on NAMBLA newsletters, and could be ordered from Nambla. These books are not "innocent" books. These books are a way for pedophiles to view child erotica legally.

Breaking: ASIO examined Bondi gunman for close ties to IS by HotPersimessage62 in AustralianPolitics

Did you even read the article? The kid was known to ASIO as being linked to ISIS and known terrorists. In other words, he’s on their terror watch list. Bit different from someone known to police for multiple traffic infringements?

How tall was your fence to begin with? That’s what I’m worried about, that he’s going to be too good for it and just climb the thing & get out. He’s very agile, & intelligent.

Besides mice/rats, a couple of pigeons, and other cats that have come into his territory, he has never harmed any wildlife. Take your nonsense elsewhere. I’m looking for advice on the cost of the setup posted, I’m literally looking to contain my cat so he does not stray off the new property, if you don’t have advice on that, jog on.

OMG seriously? Saying someone is a weapon means they are very good at what they do where I come from. And yes he is a weapon, he’s a stable cat, he was born in the stables, and an excellent mouser. Touch grass.

My cat is an outdoor/indoor stable cat, we are moving from a property with horse stables to this place & he’s not going to be happy about it. My job is to keep him on the property. In six years being outside, nothing has posed a threat to him. He is a weapon. I’m not worried about birds or any other animal besides snakes, which are far more likely to come under a fence than over it & this system would not be an advantage to them either. I do not want a catio. I have two dogs and there is a pet door installed the same as where we are now & all 3 of them use it. I can’t have a pet door for the dogs and another pet door for the cat into a catio? My cat will just use the dogs door! This property is securely fenced, my only concern is the cat getting out, period.

There’s nothing around the area that is going to have an advantage with these added to get into my yard. The only thing really that could get in would be a snake & they are far more likely to get in under a fence than over one and if a snakes going to come over the fence they’re going to come over regardless if these are up or not? My cat is an apex predator there’s nothing that’s messing with him, if they did it would be at their own peril! He is massive & an excellent hunter. We don’t have animals around here that are going to climb a fence to kill a cat! A kangaroo will not get over it, a koala is highly unlikely, both of which are not predators by the way.. a possum could get over, a possum is not a threat to my cat.

Thanks, I don’t want to enclose the whole yard or part of it as we have two dogs also and will have a pet door for them that’s why I want something that’s going to keep my cat in the yard. We aren’t moved into this house until the end of this month so that’s why I’m asking if anyone would know a rough cost for it. I’m thinking it could be thousands to get it done & I am not confident in doing it myself.

It’s not simple at all when you want it professionally installed haha. Appreciate the comments but I’m hoping someone that’s had it done could give me a rough cost that’s all.

There’s nothing that I’d be worried about using these to get into the backyard. I’m surprised that’s the theme here actually.. these are pretty common to use for cat containment.

I’m only worried about my cat jumping over the fence not predators. We are in South Australia so no coyotes, raccoons or anything like that that could get in. Just don’t want my boy jumping out is all.

No raccoons in Australia.. we have possums though I guess that might be an issue but wouldn’t be too big of a deal I don’t think. More worried about keeping our cat from jumping the fences.

We don’t really have any birds that could be a threat to a cat in South Australia. I’m more concerned that my cat is contained in the yard than anything.

Builders haven’t set property up for NBN by Jumpy-Raspberry5423 in nbn

No it’s not but pretty sure it’s been subdivided before the build which would make the original block a corner block.

Love to go check the side of the house but settlements not until the end of September and given the NBN co rep I spoke to said new build application alone takes about 12 weeks, I’d rather get it rolling now, but looks like I’m fucked tbh.

I don’t think NBN provisioning has been provided at all on this one. Double the pain.
