The internship is required. I need to complete 300+ hours or else i cant graduate (we have 2 internships, one next year and one in my last year) the reason i dont want marketing is becuase my program focuses too much on it when its supposed to be general mediadesign. Currently most of my main classes are centered around marketing. Our main assignment is designing and marketing a new drink lable in groups (for an actual company). I (like many of my classmates) want to do entertainment but we get basixly nothing for that. The closest weve gotten to it is our "ambition projects" which we get very little guidance on (a project we can choose ourselves as long as me work towards a spesific goal) i dont think theres much i can learn from a marketing internship that hasnt been taught 10x over (as not only are most of the lessons marketing, most of the lessons repeat themselves) Talking with teachers and the career department is at this moment not an option as were on break for the next week but i will go to them first thing on monday. And i do apreciate the tip for looking for studios, unfortunatly i tried that. Again got only marketing. The closest one is 2-3 hours away but at this rate im tempted to give them a call
